Can you two try and play on a higher ping server, for like an hour?  Maybe something in the 90-120 ms range.  From what I am hearing, players with sub 20/30 pings are having major issues.

I probably wont be playing that often until another patch.  I'll keep trying though.

I can barely keep a 1:1 KDR after the last patch.  It is almost pointless to play its so frustrating and bad.  I've played about 6 full rounds since the last patch and I dont think I ever had a positive KDR, and was in the bottom 18 5/6 rounds. Never had a single issue with this game until this damn patch.

I've heard playing on higher ping servers is actually given those with issues, a better game experience.  I'm curious to know what you guys see.  Ill try when I get home.

That last patch took away hit registration, introduced unbearable terrain flickering. This patch was worse than any of the beta experiences that I had with BF4 and that was ugly.

I have the Radeon HD7990 that was working amazingly well until this last patch came out. I had to run the game in Window mode to get rid of the terrain flicker. I had all this laggy/ video stutter that many are complaining about running in Window Mode, which surprised me. One thing led me down the road to the Task Manager. Under task manager I noticed something with this patch that was not happening before. I know this because of the monitoring I was doing with my over clock. Never were any of the cores semi-parked, performing very little compared to the other cores -- less than a percent. What I noticed when the cores had little spikes of activity, it coincided with the lag. That is why I started looking at Core Parking.

Turning off Core Parking in Windows 7 not only resolved all my lag issues, hit registration issues, it also allowed me to run my GTX760 in Ultra settings. I replaced this card because of how laggy it was. Turning this off resolved it all. This is a registry change that needs to be done. The people before me that have stumble upon this information have provided that information in very unprofessional manner on the web. I can't just send you to a website that doesn't provide a clear means of correcting such an issue. I do have a program that makes these changes, but I cannot guarantee that it is safe to use. I can send it to you via xfire, just message me. Here is the registry information:

Oh, by the way! You may believe that a higher ping might resolve this? Unfortunately, these same issues were present at the Test Range in BF4. Flying around in the Scout and just shooting at the ground, I noticed upwards of half the shots never registering hitting the ground, besides seeing the micro stutter/ lag. Granted, issues seen in Test Range are not as profound in multi-player, still quite obvious. At first I thought they screwed the Scout up?

Windows 8.1 disables Core Parking by default when using High Perf powercfg.  :(  As far as your stuttering, are you SLI?  If so, disable a card.  It will fix the problem.

Obviously Windows 7 has a Core Parking bug. The developers shouldn't have an issue pulling a processor out of core park. I've never seen this coding!

ya, knowing them the network smoothing factor got reversed and 100 is actually 0.  Ill try 50, but that seems crazy to me.  However at this point I have to try anything.   The game last night was managable.  But still terrible to the point I can only play 1-2 rounds before I just give up.  I played last night for maybe an hour, even though the woman was gone and I coulda played for 6 hours :(

Ill try the Network Factor tonight and see what happens.   Thanks dude.

maitenence (didn't specify server or client side) is planned by DICE/EA this evening/tomorrow morning depending on where you live.  I can only hope this is to address the issues discovered after the release of this latest patch.
