Never heard of 2 mouse icons appearing and can't find anything online about it. My son uses Win 8.1 and has COD2 loaded through Steam. Took us forever to figure out how to get it going and finally figured out it wouldn't play without a mic plugged into his PC. Awards

Try deleting one and make the other default. Try another USB slot. Does the mouse have a disc install ,or try to upgrade the driver? Some mice require installing the driver/program from the manufacture to work properly (make sure the set-up is for win8) Sounds like it might be a config issue. If that is a possibility, try system restore to a time before the trouble. I hope something helps Star. One other thing to try is to google the problem and see what comes up. Or try setting the game compatibility to Win 7 or XP/Vista. Edited August 26, 2014 by Logan Awards
