The physical distance i believe has gotten longer for our data to travel which has increased our ping somewhat among other things. I used to get 250 on the old server now i get between 300-330. i contacted my provider (telstra) they assure me my physical line is good (120mb/down, 3mb/up cable, which delivers that when i speed test so my line locally i know is the same as before.) and that it is the moving of the host server that has degraded the connection. For me some days a better than others, for that there seems to be no rhyme or reason other than local line congestion at peak times. It will be this way for us Australian players until we have another server relocation (if that happens due to our host giving poor service or whatever.) in a direction closer to us. Ive been watching all Australian players connections and have seen the increase and subsequent random fluctuations during the week since the server change. All i can say is try to persevere, i know its annoying and frustrating, i felt all of this too but now i just play knowing its going to be a little harder and that seems to help with the negative side of things. I hope this helps to shed some light on why your experiencing this and why it may not get much better for some time to come. Hang in there we all enjoy playing with ya!
