Just want to let you all know I am recovering from a TKR and also am coming off of my cdb pain meds over the last few weeks. I have noticed a serious issue not only in myself/gameplay being just shit, lol, but holy moly my pc was just done,friggin outdated like along time ago, 8+ years back. So,I just picked up a budget deal with some SSD's a nice 2nd hand Asus Tuf X570 MB with a 6 core ryzen cpu and ddr4 ram. It's no wonder I couldn't keep up with you guys in game. I still am running a GeForce 660 gpu, but thats about to change next week.

Anyhow...................the first time I tested this system out today, someone from across the pond started making accusations.

I am not here for that, and you guys will be slaughtered in game , a lot & w/o any intentional spawn kills or camping, just not my style.

I am strictly an absolute Reflex player, I hunt campers, I provoke your shot, then snap and kill you with speed.....I hunt everything & kill it, there will be no mercy. I dont know the persons name , I dont care, I just left. Anyhow, here it comes again!

I know you know what I am saying, thanks. Pissed off Pissy out! 

 Oh yeah how the heck do I get the clan tags to stick ? Wow it has been a long time! Each time I input the tags they're gone the next time I load up. Edit , tag mystery resolved.

Hi Pissy!

Glad to hear the TKR is coming along and you're getting off the meds.

Hard to get a nicely spec'ed system these days due to the super high price of memory and GPUs, so the DDR4 aspect of your system isn't a surprise.  I'm hearing many builders are installing DDR4 as an interim move while awaiting sanity to return to pricing.  I think I ran COD5 on a 660 long ago, and it was totally capable of running with max visuals, so even if you wait on the GPU, you'd probably be just fine.

As for the clan tags sticking, I'll make the recommendation I always make - run the game as an Administrator.  It may be trying to save the tag information, but Windows is denying the write (save) operation for some reason, and that can be overcome by running the game as Administrator.  It means you'll get a UAC prompt confirming you are okay allowing the game to run that way, but it seems to overcome some of the odd behaviors I've seen.  All that said, I've also heard from some others saying they do that, but it still loses the clan tag anyway.  I'm just really not clear if they really are running the game as an admin or not.  I've never had an issue with clan tags and I've always ran the game as an Administrator.

In Windows Explorer...  [I'm doing this in Win 11, but this is pretty much the same in all versions of Windows.]

Hey thanks a bunch djMot (Seriously man, TY), I will def utilize these details ! Chat GPT is helping with some of the issue. We shall battle soon, can't wait to make it all Smack again, like we did before. I got super lucky on my recent upgrade, really lucky actually, it kind of just fell into my lap, gotta love that ha ha. Love your effort here buddy, you're the man 100% Long Live >XI< 

Will run as Admin 100% still tweaking the mp_config in. Looks like the WaW Black Ops DM Mod might be a whole lot of fun as well. Slay time right round the corner!
