Modfiles appear to be downloading from the server instead of the redirect

Lol, a note for the "joke" commands: /+frag = pull the pin on a grenade, if you just enter it in the console then you have no choice but to hold the grenade until you die, because the game thinks you're just holding down your grenade button /+reload = reload your gun. same as above, typing it in console locks the command "on" so the game is always trying to reload your gun. very annoying /+left = walk left. My personal favorite: /bind mouse1 unbindall ^-- DO NOT DO THAT LOL

My recommendations: Logitech G35 <-- currently using this one, very comfortable, never had any issue with it SteelSeries 7H, 5H, or Siberia V2

They did some amazing stuff with this mod in beta, I'd love to see what the final version is like.

CBA to quote all the posts so I'll just label my responses: @ RDKL: To enable the console, go into the Main Menu -> Options -> Game Options -> Enable Console: Yes @ Config PB Issues: Indeed some servers kick/ban for certain settings, but global bans are extremely rare (not nonexistent, but rare) and the settings I gave have not given me any problems on any server and are fully compliant with competitive league rules (my config is based upon one from FnaticMSI.Lighters, a professional player) @ widowmaker: Yes, these settings are COD4 game settings and apply to all mods @ Graffitti: That's an option, but the path for the COD4 config file is different, and wiping all your settings isn't really necessary xD: Default path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\players\profiles\[your profile name]\config_mp.cfg" Note: If you are running a 32-bit operating system, the path will be more like "C:\Program Files\...\config_mp.cfg" Or if you installed it elsewhere, like I did: "E:\Games\...\config_mp.cfg" or wherever you installed the game to. If anyone wants my config as a baseline, hit me up on Xfire or PM me with an e-mail address to which I can send it. I have two, one which works with the new MW2 mod (and is 1280x800 in windowed mode, but I'll fix it for you lol) and another which doesn't because of some texture setting tweaks

For thawing simply by looking at someone: /+activate ( /-activate to turn it off if necessary) Increase your maximum FPS: /com_maxfps 125 or 250 Note: com_maxfps only changes how fast the game will allow your computer to run it, but from what I understand you have a pretty good machine so 125 frames shouldn't be a problem. Show your FPS: /cg_drawfps 1 Show the "lagometer": /cg_drawlagometer 1 Increase your field of view: /cg_fov 80 (can be set anywhere between 65 and 80) I could give you all the console names for the video settings but it's not really worth it. Much easier to just do it in the Options menu. Lemme know if there's anything else you wanna know.
