  1. Lol recoil is a bitch
  2. I hear ya @@BigPapaDean and I agree, you have to use your head and ask yourself the question of "am I breaking rules by doing this?" if yes then Fucking stop it lol, don't keep going! Serve him right I say he knew it was wrong. But on the other hand if you have many maps with glitches maybe we can get them fixed. We have some talented people in our clan, I wonder if we have a suitably skilled map maker that could possibly fix the most affected maps, the ones that shit heads naturally bloom in because it's loaded with glitches. That's all I meant, better to try and fix the issue rather than expect random players to behave with the same etiquette and honesty as ourselves.
  3. Lol how was your grouping?
  4. Ok got ya now Yes that can also work lol, I'm guessing you have tried it? Only other thing I can think of is uninstall the game and reinstall it. Re patch and see if that sorts it out. Apart from the audio quirks and the fact that you have changed nothing kind of only leaves reinstalling the game. I'm out of ideas mate, good luck with it.
  5. Welcome to the forums white dragon! You will have fun here and make plenty of friends
  6. Ok, I know the audio thing may seem crazy to some, but you will be surprised how many issues are caused by audio lol. Did the constant error messages start after starting to use firewire? I'm just trying to figure out if they started after you changed something. If it wasn't always like this then something has to have changed for it to start throwing these errors. I will keep looking for you but in the mean time try running your audio not using firewire see if that helps. Also you say your running a hybrid mac/windows machine. What operating system is on the virtual machine? And what operating system was the game brought for? Eg you have a mac running windows virtual machine, you have done this so that your copy of windows cod2 will run on your Mac. I'm thinking there maybe an issue with shutting down the game within a virtual machine, that the game thinks that it hasn't been shut down properly everytime you finish playing so it throws the error every start up. Just spit balling here, I'll get back to you after I do some more searching.
  7. That's a good capture, it would have been awesome to be there!
  8. Ok is the game from disk or steam? @Mr. Crowe Try this: Disk: Right click on your sound icon on your taskbar -> click recording devices -> right click in the window -> click show disabled/disconnected devices -> right click Stereo Mix -> click Enable Steam: right click on cod2 in your library in Steam Choose properties and then the Local Files tab Click on Verify Integrity of Game Cache. Try these first then restart cod and see if error comes up. Let us know.
  9. Leave a piece of cake on the table and eventually someone will eat it. Why run a map that has you spawning into a glitch? Cant one of our experienced map makers fix the Spawn point? If it's left unchecked Oliver will not be the last to be banned because he spawned into temptation.
  10. When your game crashes what is the error it gives you? Or what are you doing when it crashes? Various types can be PB, Memory, other software conflicting with game, etc etc or even having the game running in the background and forcing a shutdown will generate this error next time you start the game.
  11. Just click no, or it will reset your game settings to default and you will need to change them again. You will get this error everytime your game crashes. I get this with Pb crashes.
  12. Speed test tests what your line is capable of, that is real world. Its not always what you get i agree. It depends on the server you are downloading from what sort of speeds you will achieve, if they have limited bandwidth then its a given that they will cap your connection to be able to share the bandwidth with other users as well. We download a lot of stuff so having the bigger bandwidth really helps when we find a fast server, saves us a lot of time. We have our plan primarily for the data amount, the speed is just a bonus but should a server be capable of giving me data at 100mb i know my connection will do it. But hey if none of the servers you download off are capable of a high speed delivery then i suppose it would be in your best interests to downgrade your plan. For me the price difference between plans is negligible so i would rather have more bandwidth there to use if i find a fast server to download off, rather than not have it and spend all day waiting for files to complete.
  13. We get 200gb for $130 AUD a month, not sure how that stacks with your deals. That is fibre connection. i just did a local speed test but we must have some traffic coz it didnt quite reach its top dollar.
  14. I get 260 most days with a 125mb down 3mb up cable fibre connection. Our other Australian players have 280-310. Dropping your max ping should only affect the Australian players with bad internet.
  15. Happy bday!
