  1. It's an old mod though...i have it set to 30 minute time limit and when all is froze on the team games over and rotates to new map so you need a few people to make it last

  5. Sorry guys was just trying to tell Katana that the game files stay on the main part of the hd ( Local :C ) and the mods and maps go in the Virtual Store (User Folder) to avoid any issues from modded servers, like back in the cod2 days... where if anything went into the main folder from modded servers it wouldn't download properly so they made a patch that introduced the fs_game folder "Virtual" and all mods and maps went in there. Then came Vista and Windows 7 and screwed it all up lol... But sorry again iv'e been trying to help since the beginning of this thread from Katana on Windows 7 and Cod4.
  6. He doesn't have a router just a modem Kapt...and look in users / your name / AppData / Local / Scroll down to VirtualStore / then Program Files (x86) / Activision / Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare / see if there is a usermaps folder and a Mod folder in there...there is a update in Windows 7 that re routed all game files there ...just Virtual files though...like usermaps and mods and data
  7. Are your files in the virtual store or are they in Program Files (x68) ?
  8. Like i said maybe try another config_mp as there is a lot of commands in there that could affect a lot of things including downloading like seta ui_serverStatusTimeOut "7000" seta sv_allowDownload "1" seta sv_maxRate "25000" seta cl_maxpackets "100" seta Rate "25000" seta snaps “30" cl_packetdup “1" 2 extra packets there are lots in there open your config_mp with Notepad hit Ctrl = F and inside the box that opens copy and paste one of these in there and look for the high lighted command and see what its set at

  11. That's a great idea , at least the team would get the credit for the kill towards winning the round.
  12. That would end all the mixed feelings or at least slow them down i think...its kinda like a medium for the mod
  13. Hey sammy can you make it to where some maps have them and some don;t they way we could have it both ways and if someone don't like the Random strikes they can wait for another map ?
  14. aslo Open DirectX Diagnostic Tool by clicking the Start button , typing dxdiag in the Search box, and then pressing ENTER. Here are some of the things you should be looking for: Lack of hardware acceleration. Some programs run very slowly or not at all unless Microsoft DirectDraw or Direct3D hardware acceleration is available. Click the Display tab, and then under DirectX Features, check to see whether DirectDraw, Direct3D, or AGP Texture acceleration is marked Not Available. If so, you might consider upgrading your hardware. You might also need to turn on graphics acceleration. To turn on graphics acceleration Open Display Settings by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel, clicking Appearance and Personalization, clicking Personalization, and then clicking Display Settings. Click Display Settings, and then click Advanced Settings. Click the Troubleshoot tab, and then click Change Settings. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation. Move the Hardware Acceleration slider to Full. Devices are not connected. If a joystick or other input device fails to respond, it may not be properly set up. Make sure the device is present on the Input tab of DirectX Diagnostic Tool. If not, reinstall the game controller or input device by unplugging it and then plugging it back in. Unsigned drivers are present. Microsoft has not tested unsigned drivers for full compatibility with the latest version of DirectX. We recommend that you use drivers that are digitally signed by Microsoft Windows Hardware Quality Labs (WHQL).
  15. Reinstall direct X and run in 10 not 11 in your config_mp... cod4 wont handle 11...it barely handles 10.
  16. Use Teamviewer we use it all the time Try sending him your Iw3Mp.exe Cobra we have done that before and it worked if all else fails.
