We have several types of players and from what I am seeing is everyone of those types wants things to their advantage. It's not fair to those that works hard to get to someone that just gets back in some fucking corner and shoots from the time they see you spawn until they finally kill you when the 4 seconds is over. Most people when they spawn in takes a few seconds just to get your bearings. Then they decide what they are going to do. By that time the protection runs out and some damn fool has been trying their best to rape them anyway. Then to top it all off they sit there and laugh at you like children and continue to do the same to the next player that spawns in front of them. There are those I hear when in there server complain about being spawn killed and they are the worst offenders. I guess they think that if they distract the ones who's job it is to patrol this then maybe their offenses will not be noticed. I won't mention any names as that would start a riot. Then Rugger installs invisible spawn and it also is 4 seconds and when I all of a sudden appear in front of someone but this time I have the advantage and I surprise the shit out of them and they scream "How the hell did you do that?" I just go on to the next camper! There has been a lot of concern about all this forcing people to change their style of change, yet I have had countless other players tell me I should change my style of play. Now when I say that to them they usually tell me that they don't enjoy anything other style than the way they play. Hmmm so I should change mine but nobody else needs to make any adaptions? Hmmm! All I know is as it is I am really disappointed yet again on making permanent changes for the betterment of the server. My playing time there will be at a minimal since I came here. I was so excited that finally the server was changing for the good. I guess fool me once shame on you but fool me twice shame on me! Have you ever spected a map when the players are all campers? It is the funniest and most boring games you could ever hope to see. The players are all settled into their little nest and not much action so now they are either to move and go look for someone else or simple sit there and do nothing. I have come into games where the action was good but as soon as I cut my first victim they shout get your asses into a corner as Dean is in the house. You will not be hearing that much from now on as I am just simply tired of dealing with the shit of all this crap. I will go back to what I was doing before the changes began to happened then back to the way it has always been. See ya around and hopefully in game but that remains to be determined!

Hmmmmm! and I thought I was weird! Hmmmm!

I feel that there are some great servers out there that have some very nice strategic mods. The problem is they are beginning to disappear what with all the new games. The truth be told the ace is designed by and large as a high speed run and gun mod. I knew @@SABRE that someone would throw my name out there and as I said before this is NOT about me. This was not even my idea, but as @@TecHnOBoY said it was ALL about server traffic and that is all. I mean all in all it's simply a business decision. As for the vote we had before it ended up not being even something the person that set it up had any intention of ever following through with the threat. I personally talked to the person in charge at that time. AND besides my guess is that about 75% of the voters then haven't even played on the ace mod since. I for one was beginning to find other ways to get my recreation and avoiding the ace mod as it was getting so bad. I was one of the ones that Redbull was really getting animated with but he did keep it under control with me. His attitude was such he was basically demanding that everything go back to the way it was and he called that normal. If the current implementations are removed I for one will for the most part continue what I was doing so I simply leave it up to the powers that be and see how things work out. Beers you saying that was not even funny but I won't go there at this time. I love this mod and I see it wasted on strategic players who I believe would be much happier if they had a server to play that style of play in. I have said before I do not have anything against campers as long as they contribute to the overall gaming experience for everybody playing at the time! If not, which is the way its been, then well I know what most other players feel about me and my shaft with two sharp edges on it!

I wasn't sure what to expect on there really, but having said that I was very impressed with the changes. Sure some people may want to tweak it a bit but overall the game play went very well indeed. When I swung my knife I actually killed someone and didn't wonder what had happened. While playing the huge map that was on at the time I was able top get 38 knife kills and that is no easy feat under any circumstance. I also saw some things that has been part of our WaW DM server since I been playing it the last couple years and one of those is invisible spawn which I love but it is a distinct advantage to cutters like me but its about time I have at least something in my favor! Thank you Rugger for that one. At first I never even realised it was there until Giggles said when I cut her once that I just appeared in front of her as I killed her. There was one guest player who has played here off and on who was in a sort demanding we remove the anti-camping program on it, but we told him we asked for it and YOU Rugger gave it to us. This player was one of the reasons we asked for these changes. The question arose about the noobtubes and so I do ask something from you Rugger. Would you kindly tell us what all you did to create this great place to play without worry of continually being killed coming out of spawn? Thanks Rugger it was awesome

3 days ago I set my game up to where I could join the group tonight and play with them on the Crysis server, but today i go to load a few games and when I go to actually get in the server I get to the screen when this message pops up about the mp whatever and it ask me do I want to download it so I said yes then it supposedly downloads it but then it says that the version I just downloaded is wrong and do I want to update it so yes. It just keeps going in this loop. Do I need to delete a file to reload it or what?

The thing about being asked what to do is it gives free reins to speak brutally honest. I know most people think I want only what's good for knifers such as me, but they are wrong. My open honest opinion is that the server players there now are the ones responsible for the decline of the population and traffic. The changes that really need to happen are two-fold and that means our way of thinking about it to. Firstly: I always check the hlsw before I enter the server so I see who and what kinds of players are in there. 99% of the time there are 80% - 85% of the players are simply campers and while I have nothing against campers but the truth of the matter is some of them get in places where they are back in some deep hole and end up getting an incredible kill - to - death ratio. They do this by doing nothing to make the game better but sitting over the top of spawn points and staying there until they get blown to pieces by someone with a random tube. Secondly: I experience an completely wild death rate by the tubes from clear on the other side of the maps. I agree with Larsin on this that if we limited that too would make things much better as toward the end of every map it seems that the noobs come out and dominate the rest of the map. We need more of a balanced server with things in mind that things be set up so no one class or player dominates just because they play a certain style or weapon and such! While speed is important to me personally it's not important to sacrifice stability on the server for it. I am crazily fast anyway. If I think of some other things I will post them but for now I will post this. BTW Rugger thanks for asking and listening to us and giving us a chance to help with our demented minds!

Kush I went through the very same thing in a similar way but mine was premature by about 10 yrs. I have dealt with the loss a little but I find myself looking at her pictures and even tho its been almost 3 yrs I still cry at times. I went into deep depression over her and had to seek help to keep from doing something stupid to my self. These days generally speaking I smile remembering the love and joy she brought to me and the ex. She was the thing after our kids were all grown that kept us together, but when she passed we fell apart and both of us went into depression. I know how attached they make you feel but we know this will happen and we still take them in because they give so much back to us. You see all the dog pictures I post on facebook these days but as of right now I am still not up to the responsibility of doing it again. Maybe some day in the future! Hang in there my friend! You are not alone.

Giggles told us in game she has some huge CI's and I could run but it was very far from smooth!

I went into the Ace Mod a bit ago and it was so laggy that I had to have a dead on hit with my knife to even kill anyone on the first map then on the second it was so bad I couldn't kill anyone even when they were sitting right there in front of me. I had to leave as it was super laggy or something is wrong with it. Players using guns didn't seem to be bothered much with a couple exceptions. I can't play on it this way. Rugger I know that there will be some adjustments to be made yet but WOW it's really bad!

Radar we really did miss ya and honestly what you thought may happen made me think it had when you didn't or wasn't able to keep us up to snuff on your life. I am happy you are back amongst the living!

I finally got my login fixed by simply creating another account under BigPapaDean>XI<. At this point I thought I was home scot free, but no that is not my luck with this damned game. When I found the server and tried to enter to load a few maps this is what kept popping up. I selected yes to download the mp file but it said the file was not found. Dammit why is this doing this now when it worked before?me!

I finally got my Crysis Wars reinstalled but when I go to play the game key isn't there anymore. I bought this game through Steam but it sends me to Origin for any support. I want to find out how do I reset my game key from either of these Companies so I can play?
