I have laughed at many jokes that make fun of christians. Remember we are all humans and we all do stupid and funny things and we all believe funny ideas so keeping that in mind I will laugh at meslef if what I do or say or believe is funny. I believe that's how any of us grow! Astronomer at the risk of making you feel disrespected I ask this question. Why would you feel so defensive about being called a fool if you don't believe what the bible says anyway? You see just because we believe in the bible does not necessarily make it true does it? On the other hand just because you believe we are all ignorant because we believe in the bible does not make it right either does it? In essence the only way anyone can ever know what is true and real is by one event we will all face some day. That is to walk through the dorr we refer to as death! At that point every person will know what the REAL truth is. So I ask my question a gain, why does this offend you? -
I went to bed last night and everything was fine, but when I awoke a bit ago everything looks so strange! There is fire everywhere. Please if someone is still out there PLEASE!!! Let me know that am not the only idiot who survived and is now living in HELL! Please help me I can't stand this burning sensation and being shut off from all my dear friends and family! OH NO there is this big firey mean bully and he keeps sticking me with a trident he has and it is white hot! PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!

Countless people have tried without success to say when the end of time as we know it is, but have failed miserably! I applaud you well wishes but this will be the first day of the rest of your life! No body knows when our last day will be if we are still here when and if the world ends! I prefer to concentrate on the here and now and look to the future with hope and assurance! That way I am never disappointed as I once was. Life is the most precious gift we as humanes and flesh and blood have, so lets make the most of it! See ya tomorrow Dalton and all of you who are wondering if tomorrow never comes.

You hit it on the head toes. TRAINED!!! That's where most people get in trouble with some nut case! You best know what you are doing if you are going to take some screwball on in a gunfight! I know we have several families here on the website that takes the time to raise and train their kids around and how and what a gun is for. That should be standard.

I am seeing one major topic in almost all the social mediums I am part of today, and that is "gun control". Somewhere along the line we seem to have picked up the idea that congress wants to do away with the 2nd amendment. Well they can't! You see the Supreme Court has already determined that the "right to have and bear arms" is a fundamental right for us here in the states. It is also assumed that assault rifles are the problem but in reality they are not used hardly ever in the mass killing...

Pete to a point I agree but then on the other hand this reaction if indeed it was because of this late horrible tragedy is out of fear and that is the wrong reason to do this. If they have some legit reason such as they have a person with mental health issues in their house who could if they wanted figure out a reason to have access to their guns then I say kudos, but if its strictly out of fear then they are not necessarily doing the right thing! I say they should wait a while and see how they feel about it at a more calmer time and maybe they will change their mind. Just food for thought!
