The government always shoves things down our throats while hiding the problems. Remember when they forced high efficiency lighting on us years ago with CFLs and other fluorescent bulbs? They did a good job of hiding the fact they have mercury in them. As soon as they became more widely used mercury started showing up in higher quantities in the environment and in the fish we eat. That’s when they started sells g the recycling boxs to dispose of them. But funny thing on our US subs if one of those bulbs broke onboard they had speacial prodocals to clean the affected compartment, so obviously they knew. Now with the cars they still don’t know what to do with the batteries when they hit the end of there life. That me has not been fully realized yet as not a large quantity has failed yet. But it’s coming
