I'll be there in 5 minutes. No rush, will just wait
-
Alright, cool I just have to throw in some food and eat. Was at home late, because my car broke down. The clutch cable snapped.
-
The 7600X or the 7700X?
-
I could be on TS if you want in 1,5 hour, if you want?

You compare the 'older' AM4 5000 CPU, with the latest (AM5) 7000 series.
-
My honest and personal opinion, it would not be my list. Intel consumes more power and your electric bills are higher. You are going to be stuck with it. No more upgrade paths, as far as the socket goes. The same goes for the NVidia videocards vs from AMD Radeon's powerdraw. Note: The below prices are dropped. CPU Hierarchy and Ranking of Desktop Gaming CPUs Rank CPU Price Value Speed Productivity Gaming 1 Intel Core i9-13900K 24C/32T 5.8GHz $ 589 71% 98% 84% 100% 2 Intel Core i7-13700K 16C/24T 5.4GHz $ 409 75% 93% 74% 100% 3 AMD Ryzen 9 7950X 16C/32T 5.7GHz $ 699 68% 100% 84% 100% 4 AMD Ryzen 9 7900X 12C/24T 5.6GHz $ 549 70% 99% 77% 100% 5 Intel Core i5-13600K 14C/20T 5.1GHz $ 319 79% 89% 71% 99% 6 AMD Ryzen 7 7700X 8C/16T 5.4GHz $ 399 72% 97% 66% 99% 7 AMD Ryzen 5 7600X 6C/12T 5.3GHz $ 299 76% 95% 60% 99% 8 Intel Core i9-12900K 16C/24T 5.2GHz $ 589.99 67% 87% 71% 98% 9 Intel Core i7-12700K 12C/20T 5GHz $ 469.99 69% 84% 65% 98% 10 Intel Core i5-12600K 10C/16T 4.9GHz $ 469.99 68% 83% 62% 98% 11 AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D 8C/16T 4.5GHz $ 449.99 66% 75% 54% 97% 12 Intel Core i9-11900K 8C/16T 5.3GHz $ 488 65% 84% 56% 96% 13 AMD Ryzen 9 5900X 12C/24T 4.8GHz $ 499 67% 78% 64% 96% 14 AMD Ryzen 7 5800X 8C/16T 4.8GHz $ 399 68% 78% 56% 96% I am very happy with my AM4(!) AMD Ryzen 9 5900X + AMD Radeon RX 6800. It is up to you. Got my stuff by tradings. People tend to believe that AMD CPU's sucks. They stay misinformed. My last system was from Intel 9th GEN (9900k), until I hit that lame socket upgrade-path. Next in line was or the 10th GEN 10900k or the 11th GEN: 11900k and that was the last of that socket upgrade too. Same as now, with 12h GEN and now the 13th GEN, the END so far. You don't have that with the AM5 socket.
-
Because you went for the Intel platform and not AMD. "WHY??? every thing i read intel is better then ryzen." What, lol. Where did you get that nonsense? I have non-broken AMD chips at home, but with Intel, I can play domino's with. Plus the RMA of Intel is bad, very bad and if you don't have a purchase or an invoice. AMD doesn't ask anything and they just switch over if you have bad luck. The latest information about the 13th GEN, so far there won't be a 14th that fits in that socket. Intel tends to switch sockets every two years. The last AM4 of AMD, is right now 4/5 years. From Ryzen 1000 to the 5000 series. Just watch this for at least 4 minutes:

RX 6500? Why. Look: https://www.newegg.com/asrock-radeon-rx-6800-rx6800-pgd-16go/p/N82E16814930048?quicklink=true Grab my 7600X list I posted please. Change that NVidia card I have on that, change that to this one above. You are making it very hard for yourself, and you don't have to. I can make a new list for you and I will spend time to that. As far as I can see, the limit is 2000 Canadian dollars?
-
Please scroll up, where I said the option for 5800X3d or the one with the 7600X. The 7600X is the latest and even better is the 7700X one. Keep in mind, that the 5800X3D is the end of the road for you. Or, you plant the 5950X later into that one. Picking parts is hard, but reading advisories, can be much easier, if you do So, take that list I put on, with the newer 7600X and tell me what total you have. That is the homework you can do for yourself. I bet the price, from the 5800X3D to the 7600X is not far off, but you 100% are better off with a 7600X/7700X system. Of course! They want to sell you slighter older parts and offer you the work to make it working. We will help you, if you alone have to put these all together. So please, do your homework and share what you have, the differences of the price. Thank you!

Why still the End of Life CPU+Motherboard combination?
-
I hate websites, that aren't Idiot-proof like us. Such a shame! As you can see, making screenshots and place them here, we BEAT them! TS, depends on what time. Thought I had a package this morning around 8am here(it is almost 8pm here now) and they didn't show up for me. Drive past my house, #drama
-
Any other tips people? We could pin this thready one.
-
Yeah, what a sad list and those names. Such much/many heartbreaking memories we have to cherish. Fallen or not, we DO have met them and that is our luck. Bring it on! For the idiots: That #December2Remember is not; December the second
-
Yeah, I was thinking about that too. The RX6800 would even compliment each other. I stay away, far away from NVidia videocards. I only have to mention the new (burning) 12pin(?) power-plug they use. Also, the 3060Ti/3070 only has 8GB and that is such a shame.
-
I thought why not, already 'late' Here a better future-proof list for you. Check what I left open, that you can pick yourself like a M.2 SSD storage and such. If you can, pick a 7700X over an 7600X. That is still under the 12700k price. Plus, with a 7600X/7700X, you don't have to worry, if you buy next GEN CPU later, from AMD. With AM5, you can be sure of 4 years of CPU socket support. That you don't have with Intel, period. List:

Ahem, you know that list that you made is personal, right? Meaning, that is what you see and we don't I suggest you look for AMD's 5800X3d (important, not the regular 5800X) and pick a nice AM4 motherboard. Those motherboards right now are cheap-ish. I see that you want to keep your old one, that is fine. The DDR4 RAM prices aren't that high. As for Intel or, as you mentioned, an i7, those are very expensive. Just like the motherboards are as such End of Life too. And you pay like 1,5 times more. Ideally is that you look for a brand new AMD's AM5 motherboard and pick a 7600X. Therefor you could always upgrade, and for years to come, the CPU. You also go from DDR4 to DDR5 and PCIe 5.0. That is future-proof too. The DDR5 RAM prices are dropping and before you know it, the DDR4 prices would be higher. I made this list for you. What I wanted to say in private, that is, I was willing to send you over an AMD AM4 motherboard. Check out the list I made. I could make you a new one tomorrow for a different one.

Let me help you out and going through the details and such, by a PM/DM. That way, I know what your budget is and the right options for you. I am glad you didn't buy anything yet, so we can talk during the week if you'd like. First we go through what your "old" things are to lift over and planning the parts. In the end, you can share what you are getting, here. I love to help you, you know that
-
@BlackRose Please don't buy those, ready in a box, PC('s). I hope you did not purchase anything as this Black Friday is there. I am even suggesting, not to buy anything right now. If you want, we could grab parts together and you and I, are going to build your PC. I would even say, cancel your order if you already did. We can discuss this by a DM/PM first and go from there.
-
If you are not in a hurry, I can test things out for you in the weekend. What OS is the PC running on, or do you use a other device?
-
Logout from there and give me a link that I can open up and check it out. I do not pay for any movie/TV series. I use alternative websites that I can watch things for, nothing. I bet you are paying for that service? If you do, what they recommend for you to use? But yes, don't give me your login details, but a link that is usable for me to test.

I don't know!? They said that I have to hook on the Google mainframe every day for 8 hours, and they suck me dry. I don't know what kind of 'nature movies' they suck out of me. Hence, why I am single? Have you tried to use your other hand? Sometimes, it feels like someone else is doing your work-job. Maybe that helps with your short-cunt thingy.
-
That upgrade is huge, congrats! Hoping that the 13600k and motherboard combination isn't End Of Life right away for you.
-
That Honda Accord, has a great 2.0 engine. Some other Accord's has the 2.4L (K24) in them and used for engines swaps. Taking the head of the K20 (like one of my Type R) and put that on the K24(Accord) and tuning it up to 350bHP or above. I bet you enjoy the VTec of it
