Yeah, can see that. What is so plain stupid, are those rings around the fans. I wonder how many people have this problem (now). While you wait, see if you can add a fan in lower front and to blow air in and again out in the back. THis sucks, but the other way At least you know where or what the issue is. I cross my fingers for you with an RMA. Let us know how that goes and see you around.
-
WAIT, this is from the XI Shop, that is Work in Progress right? In the back, that is not a normal door, but the wing-door of Rugger's car.
-
I hated this design when it came out. The '?' shows a dead spot, not to be able to cool enough. Plus, in those lanes around it, the air escape sucks and you might have dust having a playing field there. What to learn here is yes, the GPU chip might be fine in temps, but not the VRM's that is around the graphics-chip. That is behind that blind-spot. What also is possible, that the strips that are on the VRMs is moved as in meaning that the small things overheat. These card is a pain in the ass to open, unmount it and I recommend you to find Youtube video's of how they are able to do it. Only, if you are not having that RMA claim. Take it out, take a good look with a flashlight. Or do you have this one? :
-
Can you Google your videocard please and post a picture of it? I want the brand and type of it too. The VRM's are getting to hot and a kind of surge steps in. You said you had no idea of the warranty right? If not, do you have MX-4 coolerpaste at home?
-
Tried an active fan straight to the videocard yet? Grab a 120mm fan from somewhere and hook that up to a motherboard, that you control in your BIOS on full-speed. See how that goes.
-
I do not think, after trying a fresh OS install, that Linux would help you. I think that what Tw33tle_Dee said, you should give that a try. Give the card lesser stock speed and try it from there. You can also monitor with GPU-Z the temps and the clocks. When you do that, install a single fan and blow it straight into the part where it sucks the air in. By that the temps of the VRMs would be cooler. Tomorrow, sit down and write a nice letter by email to NVidia and see if they can help. The card is not that old, and they should give warranty, or at least let them check it out. Do NOT take the card apart before this period.
-
If your RMA is getting denied, do not throw away your videocard. I happen to know someone that can fix videocards. Not sure where you live, but don't sell it for parts. I also am going to go into repairing electronics like motherboards and videocard this year. Do not give up yet. This is mine:
-
Before GPU-Z, install the drivers first to test that. Or else Windows grabs a silly driver from that OS.
-
Does it happen when you watch Youtube at 1080p/60 or higher? Seems like your card is have issues to render from 2d to 3d mode. What happens if you empty a SSD, install a fresh OS on there and use the driver when the card came out? Maybe you can find the driver disk in the box. I would also install Linux on an empty drive by Rufus. But try a fresh OS and that is easy to be done. And in the meantime, contact NVidia for help. That is assuming the FE stands for. They could see, by the serial number, what they can offer. A no is a no So, empty a SSD and let us know what your findings are. Once a fresh install is done, use GPU-Z and click on the "?" next to the PCIE 3.0 x16 like below:

(a) Loader, that can't be loaded

As the other Ban appeal was posted (in Spanish) and moved to archive; Our >XI< Admin @Barron said: "Ángel, hemos decidido eliminar tu prohibición, ten en cuenta que esta es tu última advertencia. Si vuelve a suceder, su prohibición se mantendrá." Translated by Google.

If you have followed the hardware news lately, Newegg were fooling buyers. Legit RMA claims going wrong, and even scamming Gamers Nexus so much, that GN went to visit them. Leading into solutions. Now Best Buy is in the news, with their 200 dollar subscriptions. Basically, offering deals behind a Pay-wall. The video is time-stamped at 15 minutes and 50 seconds, but the video is interesting overall. The Newegg part is also discussed in Gamers Nexus Channel:

Razer, I am not surprised. One brand, that I avoid the most. Laptop works without a battery, replacement could be hard but possible. Seems like you are not in the best of luck, what I also read on Twitter "to help out with car repairs and for my 3 boys". Wishing you good luck.
-
Haha oops! Yeah, I got lost there too. Might as well Google the ISO, but you never know what they put in there,.....
-
I am not sure, the CD/DVD is listed there. Also, not sure if someone did upload the ISO to the re-direct. Or I missed it completely. I could also use that CD/DVD ISO for myself. My old Windows 7 OS, has turn to shit with BSOD: 0x0000007b because of USB drivers. If I missed it, excuses moi. But if it is there, @Dutchy , install the game from the ISO. Once done, you could grab and copy all your old game-data over the Activsion folder. Delete the old "Mods" folder for sure. That way you don't have to do the Patches crap.
-
Alright good. Now you can have fun this weekend. Waai niet weg

If someone can ZIP that up for you, that would be great. But first try to connect to a non-XI server, if something is blocking you to download anything. Try that first, please, and I could ask one of our >XI< members to do that for you.
-
Maybe,.. someone is willing to help out. To give you the Mods folder in ZIP file and send it over. Also, if you join another server, not >XI< with Mods, could you download that? Not sure if your network is blocking downloads from servers. Give that a try first.
-
Rename the "Mods" folder at your drive: .....\Program Files (x86)\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods to "ModsOld" or better, move it somewhere like at C:\Old and try again. Do not delete that, because you can always restore them if needed.

I really never ever understood of why they drop a box at doors. No time to ring at the door, but just walking back to their car. It is like you have to let them send stuff as in always insured. I have seen so many videos, that people are even following US Mail drivers, to grab and steal stuff. I actually have had @Cobryis_XI got something from Ebay that I ordered, and he showed me his door-cam and how that went. Old man and not 100% fit, dropping the box at a pole and struggling back.
-
At wetransfer.com you can upload any files for free, up to 2GB and videos of course. As some of us are curious anyway and tech savvies, like me. But, I leave that up to @monkie to decide, and in what shape and form. And as for and how this discussions goes.
-
For a new GPU, I recommend you to go to forums, where they are in direct contact with NVidia or AMD. For sure to get some kind of MSRP prices, even though NVidia has raised their prices even on top of those MSRP prices. AMD is smarter that way. A tech 'buddy' of mine, could get his 6900 XT this way. These forums have tools that are in a way of use, going for and to, the real End-Users and not miners.
