    Its funny you mentioned that Bama. I spent a few summers up in northern Saskatchewan were almost 60% of the worlds uranium was mined during the 1950's and into the 1970's. Radiation protection was no-existent and ore from these mines sat in tailing lakes close by. The ground was literally orange and trees were dead for 100's of feet around. Guy's would dirt bike in the sand around these abandoned mines and their lakes. I have friends who's fathers worked underground in these mines and literally all have past away from some type of cancer.

    Its suprising what little we knew about ionizing radiation years ago. Years ago you would go to the shoe store and you could Fluoroscopy your feet to see if the shoes you chose fit properly... Morons..
