Yes, Kokanee is good but expensive...our stuff in Quebec is a lot cheaper tho...it seems like it's the provinces governement that taxes the alcohol more...and the whole "liquor store is the only one selling" doesn't help! I lived in New Brunswick for 5 years...jeez the price of a 24 was the same as yours...$40 to $45....ridiculous... Look, brand name beer from the grocery store here in Quebec...a buck a pop basically for 5% alcohol... the 4% LITE goes for less...

The price is on a /per slot basis. about $1.29 per slot....which is a lot of monies/month....I guess that when the BETA comes out, and some of us will be trying it in a 64 players environment, that will help figuring things out...

I agree with Ukildme on the gametype...Conquest HARDCORE-mode...(captures the whole "domination-type" gameplay of COD) and gives access to the whole map...it's also the ONLY gametype that plays up to 64 slots! I've owned both products. I have mixed feeling about both. To me, it depends...like a new game that comes out, some graphics cards from both manufacturers are good or bad (or bad price/performance ratio). I got: ATI xPert @ Work 8mo nVIDIA TNT2 M64 ATi X800Pro AGP ATi X1950 PRO AGP(dead on arrival) nVIDIA 7800GS AGP (gave away to a buddy, still running) nVIDIA 8800GTS 640 Mo superclocked (died after 4 years) nVIDIA GTX260 Core 216 (sold it) Ati HD5770 (in my daughter's rig) Ati HD4650 GDDR3 1 Go (laptop's GPU) (plays COD online at med graphics 1366 X 768) ATi HD5870 1 Go (sold it) 2 x MSI GTX560 Ti in SLI (what I have now...) So it's pretty close to EVEN.... I had driver issues in the past with ATI drivers (graphical glitches in a few games like Far Cry and BFBC2), some drivers that wouldn't install, stuff like that.... I prefer nVIDIA, but the new ATi cards coming-in before X-mas seems interesting.... It's impossible to do a blanket statement and declare a clear winner!!!!!! Discussing brand fidelity in Graphics cards leads nowhere, like American cars vs Imports, sports teams, everybody have their opinion... My guideline for graphics: Buy from a reputable brand, after researching and reading a few reviews on the product. Make sure you understands where the card stands in terms of performance (sometimes new cards are just rehashed chips)... Make sure you understand the warranty... ATI will come up with the "Southern Island" (HD7000-series) family of GPUs before Christmas...promising nVIDIA is working on the "Kepler" series now (GTX600-series)

Take the following video with a grain of salt, it's featuring the ALPHA game play... ALPHA has: -lowered graphics options (graphics in ALPHA are on LOW) -represents only one mission I guess -the video features softcore game play. There is customizations menus at around 4minutes 40 seconds in... I say again, don't rely on this to judge the graphics in the game!!!

RD is it my understanding/misunderstanding that >XI< will NOT be hosting a BF3 server(s)? Just would like some clarity on that if possible. This game is awesome. So where do you get a beta down load at? I have a code thats suppose to be for the beta. Actually RD, there is good chances that it becomes supported...more to follow! Keep the faith! I'd like to get the extra maps (back to Karkand and the physical warfare packages...) For the BETA download, it should be available in the last week of Septembre...I read 27 Sept. to 29 Sept. timeframe... My flightstick is ready to go!!!!!!!!!!
