  1. Have a good one bro!
  2. PrimalFear greywolf2 AS soon as the game comes in mail i will load and be on the server. Just remember all First day out can have issues, but XI will iron them out and have a rocking game............ +1 I expect the servers will suck for the first few days the game is out and there will be nothing anyone can do about it, some people won't be able to download the game because of server load etc, and I won't blame DICE or Origin for it, happens everytime and just comes with the territory. Hope I'm wrong but we'll see, if it does though it will all iron out in the end I'm not worried. Lock and load mofos!!!! 64 slots all out war? Nice Rugger! Keep your morale up on the Battlefield folks! There hasn't been any flawless game releases in a long while...now we know the drills! The BETA was a month and a half-old material when we played it. There will be quite a few improvements, still a few kinks to iron out...been there, done that! I encourage everybody to be a team player, and dropping ammo and medpacks!!!!!
  3. PrimalFear Damn that sucks, I have been loving it while it lasted. I'm getting set up for BF3 3D in the meantime, this game is setup special for 3D gaming. That was a short beta though, but I guess it's a good thing, they must have had very few problems to fix. So the 2 week withdrawl symptoms start today bummer Jeez, Primal! You got some serious $$$ put in your rig or wut? Like St33L mentioned, this 3D stuff is really demanding, especially on an already-intensive game like BF3.... Usually, you need dual cards to run 3D at a decent frame rate...
  4. BETA is over... Yes Hardcore, I'll come to shoot ya in your FACE! Or maybe in your back... =)
  5. VicPolaris ty all i am very excited and sry for taking this wonderful woman off the market. so hands off shes mine lol. Lol! Congrats to you both!
  6. Another Canadian MOFO! Have a good time!
  7. Michael Ironside...from Toronto... Top gun the movie, as other things...he featured in a LOT of movies and TV series...I counted about 150 titles...
  8. Have a good one folks!
  9. Some players seem NOT to realize that it's a BETA, so we are BETA testers...as simple as that... Top 10 Battlefield 3 Open Beta issues and how we are addressing them 1. Squad issues: Cannot play with friends within same squad, squads get split up onto opposite teams, etc. There will be improved squad functionality in the retail game (including but not limited to): the ability to create squads prior to launching into a game, sticking with your squad when joining a game and continuing together through future games (If team balance on the server allows it), inviting friends to a squad and changing squads once in game. 2. Regarding additional Open Beta content and fixes/patches for consoles, including PlayStation 3 issues with chat and party systems. While we would like to patch the Open Beta, DICE is currently focusing its available resources on polishing the retail game. 3. Will DICE have enough time to iron out everything by release? Please see General Manager Karl Magnus Troedsson's blog post regarding this question. 4. Can we have ability to change settings/options before deployment into match on PC? The ability to modify your settings via the deploy screen has been added into the retail game. 5. Issues with terrain stability and “falling into the map” on Operation Métro This has been fixed for the beta via a server side update. 6. Kill cam sometimes zooms out too far or outside the map This has been fixed for the launch of the retail game. 7. A bug that sometimes keeps some players from being able to sprint This has been fixed for the launch of the retail game. 8. Screen flickering/stuttering. Blue screen remains after respawn. Game locks up after deploying C4 (360) This has been fixed for the launch of the retail game. 9. Downed bodies appear to be dead, but are not The DICE team has been looking into this issue – which is caused by a combination of incidents in a confined area - and are working hard to address the issue for the launch of the retail game. 10. Why is the hit detection seemingly different from Battlefield: Bad Company 2? The netcode is one of the many things that we are testing as part of the Open Beta and is not necessarily reflective of the final retail game. The DICE team appreciates and has heard the feedback you’ve provided and is further optimizing online play. Don’t forget to keep submitting your ideas and issues to the Battlelog forums. Thanks to your help and participation we’re on track to make Battlefield 3 our greatest game to date!
  10. I pre-ordered from EB Games, which is a branch of GAMESTOP I guess... That way, I'm getting a hard copy + the limited edition package... I dunno if you're right about playing without Origin tho....
  11. Like DICE people mentioned, this Caspian border "gift" this week-end is to help them setting up the 64 slot servers... As they already mentioned, there is disconnects....
  12. I tried it early this morning after posting this... I almost made it late to work lolz... There is some "jet aircraft camping bitches" waiting for the planes to respawn...lol just like in BF2 back in the day...I managed to fly a chopper easy with both WASD and arrows on the keyboard...spacebar for rockets!!!
  13. NICE NICE NICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This week-end!!!!!!!!We'll be able to play on the big CASPIAN BORDER map in 64 PLAYERS mode!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DICE Opening Up Caspian Border Testing to All [ Comment ] 1:49 PST | ^Scott^ | Print News | Category: BF3Battlefield 3 Community Manager, Ian Tornay posted on the Battlelog forums that DICE will be opening up 64 player Caspian Border for this last weekend of the beta. Caspian Border will be for PC only and start today (Friday) in the afternoon (CET). After analyzing the data from our first round of closed Caspian Border tests, we have great news for participants in the Battlefield 3 PC Open Beta: the DICE team has decided to bring back Caspian Border for the beta’s final weekend and conduct an open large scale test of the 64 player Caspian Border map. *****Please keep in mind that as this is beta we will be stress testing our servers***** As such, users may experience crashes, network instability and outages as we roll out and configure servers and network utilities . Understand that such potential issues and the testing environment are not reflective or indicative of the final product and that, through your participation, you will be helping to ensure future stability and functionality. As we are again specifically testing 64-player server configurations, this test will be for PC only. The Caspian Border servers will be available for all PC players to join. Caspian Border will be available starting Friday, October 7th, in the afternoon (CET).
  14. 8000pts is pretty darn good Sun! Your 6870s are even with my 560Tis pretty much....
  15. That's a pretty good score...IMHO! A GTX580 scores average 6000 P-score...
  16. lol...the test is not a real test...it just sees what you got in the rig and matches a database... A single 560 (non Ti) is about 10% faster than a 460...and you got two of those...lol. don't worry about that score... Your 3Dmarks 11 matters a lot more than whatever this BF3 test does...this is my latest P-score in 3Dmarks11, using the nVIDIA BF3-ready BETA driver (285.38)
  17. With 2 X 4870s you should be fine for Med settings....maybe a mixture of MED and HIGH...
  18. Sweatnbullets Sweatin63 Love the Beta ! Still have not had a Crash..... Really good thing....no party crashing things happening for a happy gamer!
  19. Well, the hit registration and bullet damage on BF3 is already a lot better that BFBC2 in my opinion. The Hardcore mode will probably be really deadly..
  20. Sneaky got a GTX460 and it's a good little card. I'm sure that the RECOMMENDED test might say it's not enough, but we know it's gonna be alright, as long as he runs at 1680 x 1050 or something and med-high settings and a few options off...
  21. Primal, To be honest, your CPU/motherboard/ram combo is up to the task. Your CPU would gain lots from a decent overclock to 3.0GHZ IF your mobo offers overclocking options.. The goldie oldie 8800GTS will cry tho.. A GTX460/560 1GB or better would be a good upgrade. On the AMD side of things, a HD6870 or better Depending of where you are, check on MICROCENTER or NEWEGG.COM... I realize money doesn`t grow on trees....
  22. Come get killed! Add me as a friend CplMOFO_XI
