I had the same prob by a friend with win7, so don't use the automatic install but search in the cod2 map on the dvd to a setup or install file , it works perfect. Yeah Litlle old man, that problem i have for many years now. But if it happens , i put the server in my favourites in cod2 , so i started then up without XFire. This problem got the to by our ping at that time we log in to the server, it can't be helped unlesse we move closer to the central. My ping is mostly between 100/150 but if it goes beyond 150 for one moment, then i have the same trouble as you, then i go the favo servers in cod2, that's where i have tdm also , when i click it one their. i mostly get in , the first time. If someone know's how to lower are ping, we would gladly hear it lol. Greetzzz ALBERT

The whole server crashed that same day , at the point that i was in it , with two admins, their where lookin at it and 10 min later we could get back in , wath really happened, i don't no , but its working fine at the moment. About the dm server i can't talk , i'm not much there any more, have to put a lot off iwd files in the trashcan to get back in there lol. maybe i do that tommorow lol.

All maps are good , only we need a litlle more rotation, and maybe more maps , for all some goods. Wardragon likes the plane and the bathroom , keep it in but place more maps , as i like the sniper map with the towers , put it back in pls. I have this same thing since i installed win7, the thing i do now , is to be sure that i saved it when i start the game, the next time its mostly ok , but i think that it has to do with win7 and not the game.
