It's not necessarily the developers fault. They give the tools to allow people to make the mods available to the community so its the creators of the mods decide to publish the mods or not. Then again yes one or two game updates can break some mods in question. A majority of them still work fine apart from the uniforms An auto-kick is on the servers. It's set at 10 minutes. So if a person is AFK for 10 mins they will be autokicked. People don't typically last 10 minutes AFK as people will end up vote kicking the AFK guy If someone is AFK on the servers for a long time, you can simply press ESC and there is a option there to start a vote. Select Vote Kick and select the guys name who is AFK and your team will vote to kick the guy or not

PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUND It is currently the best selling game on Steam at the moment and is continuing to grow tremulously Tonnes of players are playing it and squading up together. I wouldn't really download downloading uniforms anymore. A quick Insurgency patch a few months ago gave a lot of uniform mods problems. Loads of players subscribed to mods couldn't see the enemy as they were turning out to be invisible I would stick to the weapon/scopes/sound mods for now

For a plugin for free you are going to struggle to find consistant streams. There is a paid one I can recommend you, I think its $60/70 for a whole year but they also have 1/3/6 month packages if you wish to try them out. They have all the tonnes of channels including all the paid movie and sports channels. I use the sports version of them instead as I wouldn't really watch anything else Yeah Sportsmania is a solid plugin for sports especially with all their HD streams. I recently bought a 6 month subscription in late April, later did I cop on that there was only 4 weeks left of the football season , Fuck it I still got my moneys worth I suppose . I will be definitely getting a year subscription once my 6 months ends, its well worth it in the long term.

Player On Our Server
Barron replied to Spartacus's topic in Rising Storm 2: Vietnam's Rising Storm 2: Vietnam Discussion
I have put in over 20+ hrs on RS2 Vietnam but for me overtime it got boring playing the same 4/5 maps the whole time over and over. I will continue again if more content comes about Regards to getting more people playing the game then I don't know at all. There has been tonnes of clan members applying for Stringers giveaway for the game even though you can get the game for less than $10. The ones that wont win the raffle or didn't win the raffle and were originally interested but still wont pay the $10 for the game. It's just one of those things man -
No they are all free in the Steam Workshop. There is thousands of mods for Insurgency To apply the mods simply just press Subscribe and it will download the mods for you. Relaunch Insurgency and the mods will be in your game

I quite like the idea altogether, looking forward to it

Happy Birthday Ricko, have a good one!
-
I quite like the idea and could be very beneficial for game communities How does it work in terms of registration? New people would still have to register on the main XI homepage I presume and then apply to join the a particular club or can they just join any club as a member?

Welcome to the forums Cyro, you finally made it

They are both running the Game mode Push only as it's the most popular game mode people play on. The difference between the 2 servers is that one server has team switches mid game and one of them doesn't have team switches in a map Server 1 has team switches after 2 rounds. So if you were attacking originally you would be put on the defending team in the 3rd round. You lose supply points you gained after you team switch. Server 1 is limited to 4 rounds in total so there can be a Tie if it ends 2-2 Server 2 doesn't have any team switches at all so whether your attacking or defending you be on the same team throughout the map. You get to keep your supply points on each round on the server so you can gain quite a lot. Its the first team to win 3 rounds wins on Server 2 with no Ties so it can go as long as the 5th round if it stayed at 2-2 after 4 rounds

No problem man. I should of done a small guide like that a long time ago actually but forgot all about doing it. There is another guide here too if the servers are full and you want to queue to join Currently the developers have abandoned the ranking system on Insurgency unfortunately but implemented it on their newer game Day of Infamy which is basically a WW2 Insurgency. For ranking the Insurgency Community rely on GameMe ranking system on servers now which you may have seen on a few servers. We currently run it on our XI servers and it tells you how many points you have gained and lost per kill/death If you type !rank in chat on either of the 2 servers a menu will pop up on the left of your screen showing your position on the server and your worldwide rank compared to everyone else If you kill someone much higher ranked than you , then you will gain alot of points from them and you gain their points that they lost etc.. It makes the game more competitive in the sense A few players top 10 in the world play on our servers so if you kill them in game you will gain a lot of GameMe points to yourself

Hi Kami, Ill try to explain the guns and setups are easy as possible. Took me quite some time to get used to it myself when I began playing the game Selecting Roles When you select a Squad Selection you will see the following classes, Each class has different weapons according to their roles Once you select a class you should see at the bottom right a supply point symbol as shown below in the red circle. The number tells you how many extra points you have left to spent on weapon attachments and grenades etc... . You can save supply points by removing grenades or weapon attachments by clicking the Red X beside them You gain additional supply points every round you play in a map. You gain 2 supply points if you win a round and you gain 1 point if you lose a round. (If you don't like the class you are currently using you can Press M at anytime during the round to see if there is another free Class open if someone leaves) Ammunition Types Before you select your weapon you want to make sure you have spare supply points as there is 3 different types of ammunition for each gun. The type of ammunition selected effects the damage done to the target. Regular ammunition is the stock ammunition that comes with the gun when it is selected. It does decent damage to flesh targets but is not as effect against armored targets. Hollow-Point (HP Ammo) is more effective than regular ammo, as it does more damage against flesh targets and slightly more damage against light body armor, and can penetrate wood. Armor-Piercing (AP Ammo) is the most effective ammunition, as it has the capability to defeat all types of body armor, but is the most costly. Can penetrate wooden structures very effectively. Tracer rounds basically do nothing but give your bullets a tracer affect. It would be highly similar to the regular ammunition AP ammo is the most effective ammo type in the game and I would equip it on all primary weapons Secondary Weapons Depending on the Insurgent team or Security forces they all different pistols apart from the Makarov. All the pistols pretty much all do the same damage but shoot differently. The Makarov is the only pistol that costs 0 Supply points while the rest cost 1 Supply point so there is no point really using an M9 or M1911 when you are pretty much wasting a spare supply point which you can use on something else Just use a Makarov with no ammo type is the best option Armour Depending on the Armour type you select determinants how many bullets it takes for you to die. No Body Armor is stock for the player and offers no damage reduction to any type of ammo. Light Body Armor offers some protection against non-armor piercing ammo, and slightly restricts the mobility of the player. Heavy Body Armor offer the most protection against all ammo, but is rather heavy and greatly restricts a player's mobility, and causes fatigue much faster when sprinting. Weapons Weapons in the game pretty do the same amount of damage in the game with AP ammo apart from the SMG's such as MP5, MP-40 and Sterling but the SMG's offering a higher rate of fire The best weapons out there and are most cost efficient are the AKM = 0 Points and M16A4 = 1 point Those 2 weapons with AP ammo are typically always a 2-3 shot kill And if your new to the game and not used to the recoil pattern of guns I would Highly advice just 1 tapping each shot. You can also change fire mode of your weapon by pressing X If I have missed anything I will be sure to add more in. I just tried to keep it as simple as possible without over complicating things

Well if she doesn't know that much regarding windows than I would recommend her to downgrade to windows 7 at least. Linux is complicated for people who just browse the web in the long term. There is very little support online for linux issues compared to windows. If you ran into a problem on your PC on windows you just google it and more than likely someone else had the same issue and found the solution. With linux there is more than likely code involved in a fix. Linux Mint is the closest distro to Window...but would I recommend to to someone who browses the web and runs into problems then No. I would say go for Windows 7 at least for the simplicity

Happy Birthday man , Have a good one!

Hi Me Feet, Thanks for the appeal. You were giving a 1 day temp ban for excessive spawn killing. I just got numerous of angry reports of you from players last night using explosives for multiple rounds on enemy in spawn in maps such as Verticallity. I logged on to confront you about it you must of disconnected by the time I just got on. A new map came on at that stage. We allow spawn killing on our servers only once its not excessive over multiple rounds. You have been playing on our servers regularly now for the last few months and have literally little to no complaints from players about you at all. I am willing to unban your 1 day temp ban since you now know the rules regarding the spawn killing. Hopefully it doesn't happen again in the future Barron

Insurgency Sandstorm Trailer Finally Released
Barron replied to Barron's topic in Insurgency's Insurgency Discussion
That is only the single player trailer. There is a multiplayer trailer coming out soon. I was super impressed with that trailer alone especially on the new game engine, the Iraq war setting should be interesting too. Its running on the Unreal Engine 4 which is one of the newer and best game engines out there in terms of graphics. The new engine can also support up to 100+ players online so it will be interesting to see if the dev's implement that. Should be a beta coming late this year I reckon -
Yes it doesn't look bad as such but even the gameplay and movement is pretty much still COD at the end of the day but in a new environment. I have said it before but I can still see to this day in the future that the COD WW2 game will eventually have jetpacks or something completely non historic in the game too keep the children player base happy. If they don't add those features named above then yes I can see the game surviving for years to come
