Jesus your lucky you actually got a key. Not many people have received one at all They have giving out fuck all keys according to nearly all the comments on steam, people have signed up from when the 1st wave of beta was available and still never received a key but yet they are still releasing new waves of beta's. Most of the comments claim that the developers have given most of the keys to youtubers so they could promote the game better. Shame really , I really want to try the game out. Might just have to wait till the open beta before most people get to play

I don't agree with that whatsoever I am sorry. I am on Windows 8.1 currently and I don't feel the need to run Microsoft Defender when it can barely catch half as trojans as a paid AV can. I currently am paying for Zone Alarm Professional anti virus and firewall for over 3 years now. Only once in the last 2/3 years I didn't have ZoneAlarm as it expired so I began experimenting with other free AV software and they did absolutely nothing at all apart from ruin all of my firewall permissions and much more. With that alone I said enough was enough at the time and went ahead and purchased another licence for ZoneAlarm and everything was back to normal. In that time I was without ZoneAlarm I ran multiple free AV's such as AVG/Avast and even Microsoft Defender. They all literally did nothing apart from detect files that are already on your HDD I knew weren't viruses and they suspected them of being keyloggers/trojans (which they weren't). I had all the free AV only run on my C drive and had a copy of the files that in the past were accused of trojans in rar files backed up on another drive so they would be kept safe. Most of free AV's including Microsoft Defender removed the files automatically without any confirmation and they were literally the only files they ever caught. Also with Microsoft defender I never got once a pop up on a dodgy website saying that there a suspicious javascript file or an anti-phishing tool running on this website. Overall security like that is worth paying the extra bit of money for as you never know these days what is running on certain websites. I even experimented with paid ZoneAlarm and running NoScript on a web browser and it was detecting the suspicious javascripts. More or less they were all on those free soccer live stream websites but then again you can see how vulnerable people would be on those websites

Hi Billy, Yeah the vote kicks recently have been a pain. The vote kicks simply work when they want to while to vote for next map works perfect. I think I have found a temporary fix for the vote kicks and have implemented on the 2 servers tonight. They probably wont be fully activated until tomorrow though. It now only takes 1 person to initialize a vote kick rather than 2 players and it now needs 1/3 of yes votes to pass, the duration of the vote kick has also been increased. If it is still the same tomorrow I have a backup for the vote-kicks which should definitely work. Regarding BSNB he has been temp banned for his actions, reading through the chat log there was multiple people complaining about him at the time for the same reasons. Thanks for the heads up

It definitely has potential as a site if it gets big developers interested. If you look at the way HumbleBundle and its monthly subscription ( yes they give 5% to charity) but the majority of their monthly games are terrible apart from the odd one game. Humblebundle sales are up there with steam at times. There a market opportunity for a monthly subscription of games there but it seems like no developers want to take the chance. Which is understandable in a way

Sounds good I must say. Ever since Origin released EA access I was hoping for Steam and game developers on steam hosting their games to do the same thing, it may come sometime in the near future, Hopefully anyway The site in general though on the homepage with the games there, the games are pretty average to be fair. I dont like the way they say there is "over 450 games to choose from" but to find out what the other games are you have to pay up front or just get the free trial. They also say in the FAQ: The games are on the site are like contracts by the sounds of it. It almost sounds like if the website is or is not successful after a period of time the developers will get their games off the website. If you have already paid for the the subscription yourself, drop me a PM , I might just be interested depending on the games they have available

Single player is meant to based during the Iraq war apparently, it should be interesting. They are releasing the game on console's also so it's going to be a big push from the developers. Also since it's on the Unreal engine it will supported up to 100 players on a server, see what happens anyway

Rainbow Six is actually amazing game I forgot how good it was until I played it again yesterday. I was playing it for hours straight which I haven't done in any quite some time. I just never got bored of the game at all, still haven't played all the maps. It seems like there is tonnes of maps or something as each new game was nearly always a new map that I never played. I just have to get to rank 20 now to play competitively which shouldn't take that long. I logged on steam there few minutes ago and turns out I clocked up nearly 5 on it yesterday alone, I had no idea I was playing that long :lol: I'd say I will be definitely purchasing the game soon before the free weekend is over. The 50% off as it is , is well worth it

I know where you are coming from, a warning on the MOTD would be good but a spawn camping rule cannot be enforced if there is not alot of admins/mods that can support the rule. It just wouldn't work as people would still continue to do it once I am offline like Regards to helping out with the test server your more than welcome to test out the extra spawn protection but it may take a while

It's good that you actually brought up that point actually. I was meant to talk to the Brazilian clan for the last week or so about the spawn killing. They have been playing quite late at night now when I am not on (3/4am), and there has been 7 of them playing 1 of the nights. They also said they had their own Insurgency server a few months back but still continue to play on other servers. There is other clans that tend to spawn kill as well such as (Meatlips) , (+CG+) , (F.A.R.T.) just to name a few, but they don't spawn kill excessively like the Brazillians . I was considering increasing spawn protection times during the big changes recently. I just cant see it working on some maps. The main map I was focusing on when considering the increased spawn protection time was buhriz after you cap A point. You spawn under the bridge to attack B point. The second you leave under the bridge you are under fire from snipers/machine gunners sitting back. If I increased spawn protection for extra 5 seconds for example , people leaving from under the bridge would be immune from many enemy shots for the extra 5 seconds. It's quite difficult to implement as you have to consider most spawn points on maps and how increased spawn protection time would perform and how effective would it be. I am all up from increased spawn protection times but I may need a volunteer to test it out on our test server

Thanks for the support I will still be around and such. It's just going to be a long 2 weeks for me , especially with having the irregular heartbeat that caused the major palpitation. I just feel very cautious with it. Hopefully now in 2 weeks time they can get rid of the irregular heartbeat so I can get back to normal.

I was recently rushed to hospital on Thursday with major heart palpitations that latest over 20 mins and got gradually worse. I literally thought I was having a heart attack , I got an ECG done on the ambulance on the way down to the Hospital and my heart rate was over 190 bpm. I was then rushed straight into A&E and hooked up on an ECG. The machine was reading over 185+ and was beeping like crazy , like 5/6 doctors rushed over once they heard the machine. I thought I was literally going to die on the spot when the came over. After a good 20/30 mins they managed to reduce it to 150 with many injections and such but that still wasn't great, I was having major shakes and feeling numb at that stage. It calmed down to about 120/130 an hour later but my chest was still pounding. A good few hours later it calmed down but the after the ECG results showed that my heart was beating irregularly. Keep in mind 2 days previously I was at my local doctors for a checkup and they ran a ECG on me and it was all clear so like wtf? I have got heart palpitations before but they would go away after 5 mins or so but this latest one latest several hours, I am surprised I lasted that long to be honest. I was recently released from hospital today after running multiple more checks on me. They were satisfied that the palpitations have went but the irregular heartbeat still is a problem. He gave me a heart medication to take and told me to go back to the hospital in 2 weeks so they can fix the heart back to normal. I was told not to drink alcohol, cut down hugely on cigarettes and keep stress levels at a minimum to prevent another palpitation. With that said I am going to take a break on many multiplayer games including Insurgency to keep stress levels at a minimum. Last thing I want to go through is that type of heart palpitation especially after being told I have an irregular heart beat. It was easily the most terrifying moments I have been through

I got an email late last night from them saying that are having a 3rd wave of closed betas keys for today. I haven't got an beta key yet , hopefully will get one later. Says on the email - "Email invitations will be sent out early morning Thursday (EST)" , so it actually might be within the next few hours

Nice idea I must say, its definitely one that hasn't been done on Insurgency. If you need any help at all regards to testing it out or help in general give me a shout and I will try and do my best!

In regards to the video memory , its typically the lower 3gb card is the base model suited for single monitors, the 6gb models are for more than 1 monitor but have the same performance

I forgot about this post but thanks for the input Server 2 will remain the same as it was , I may have to try rename or change the MOTD for both servers but I highly doubt that would matter to be honest Since the changes I have not heard 1 complaint since. I have only heard someone on steam asking for skirmish back on our servers, I will leave that for another day if enough people are interested Anyway with that said anymore input/suggestions is always welcome and I will see what I can do!
