I was asking because for some stupid reason CoD4 is censored in Germany. So I always played a US copy, which I can't officially use from a German IP - except only on cracked servers. Although the censoring is miniscule and only applies to the single player afaik. ... I'll check that out again. Anyway.

Are the CoD4 servers cracked?

@@djMot I even reduced the size of the picture - which is originally 24 MP. I guess I just uploaded it to my webserver and put it in as an img link in the editor. @@bds1961 you must not upload the RAW images, which are 30 MBish big. Just export it as jpg in Lightroom or whatever you're using. Will still have the same size but only 2-3 MB big.

Youtube isn't small either, but they take down contents very quickly - within a day - if you rightfully complain. Facebook is clearly stalling on purpose - as stated in both videos. Fair would be to get the rightful owner of the content the advertising money they deserve and to punish the uploader. But thats not gonna happen. Good that Facebook and others wont have it that easy anymore in the EU after the Vienna verdict. They wont be allowed to store datas of EU citizens in the US anymore (in case you didn't know). Since law suits like this can be successful, I hope someone will sue them for their sharing illegal contents pracitce.

The point is that Facebook purposely makes it extremely complicated to take the video down again. The longer it's up, the more money they make with it.

Thanks. I'll probably gonna get one of the mirrorless Sonys and slap a 35 or 50 prime on. Brilliant for city travel / street photography (and video too ofc). Unfortunately I don't have permissions to post portraits I took. I put a dirty cheap but decently working strobe setup together. I got 2 Yongnuo 560 IV, they are very cheap and great for that purpose. One Metz 52 af-1. Some cheap light stands and very cheap softboxes. A black sheet as background, a few reflectors and you're all set for less than EUR 400,-.

Just getting started again. More than 10 years after I sold all my analogue Nikon SLR gear I recently bought a Sony Alpha 77 SLT and some equipment. Here some samples what I got so far. (for larger images, click on the picture)

Do you play on the EU HC server? @SgtHindsight it's not the point whether it's possible to battle Zonks or not. The point is that they are disruptive, cause friction and imbalance the server. It is wrong when you say their team loses. The only game I won the past 2 days was the one when I was in the same team as the zonks. And frankly I don't want to be forced to play in a certain way and battle zonk specifically to balance the server. I don't know who wants that. Sounds like work. If someone wants to battle Zonk, they can have a scrim. But our server is not for competetive gaming one clan vs. some other clan. We just want to have fun as Pandi said. And thats kind of gone now. So, either XI is letting clans like Zonk who contribute nothing, use and take over our XI server as if it's their own playground, while our own members, friends and regulars leave and play somewhere else - or the Zonks get equally distributed to both teams as many times suggested. I don't understand the hesitation. If the admins decide to finaly deal with the situation many people who don't post here in this thread, but who leave comments in server chat or articulate their opinion strongly on TS would be very happy. Otherwise, and I can only speak for myself, I'm most likely not gonna even join the EU server anymore when one team is stacked with Zonks. On a side note: This thread does not represent the overall opinion about the subject. As said, the talk on TS and the comments in game chat speak differently. Only a few of us do actually post here who dislike the situation, but I see many "pro Zonk" comments made by people who I rarely or never see on the EU server.

XI's are always spread all over the place. It can't be that XI members leave or don't even join if Zonks are stacking the team. Either it's an XI server or a Zonk server. I'm not the only one complaining. Good that around 10 it seems to be Zonk bedtime. At least one hour of relaxed non competetive gaming left every evening. I asked an admin yesterday to shuffle the Zonks around a bit and it worked. Teams became much better balanced. Of course the Zonks were pissed, but everyone else on TS was happy about it. I don't give a rats ass about what Zoks are posting in this thread. The facts are the facts. If they stack one team, server becomes imbalanced, people leave, even XI's don't wanna play anymore, XI server becomes a No Fun server (except for Zonks). We can't subordinate the needs of the many for the needs of the few. I'm not saying the Zonks do anything wrong, but that doesn't change the fact that their presence is poisoning the gaming experience for many other players on our server. No one cares if Zonks are pissed or anything. There are plenty of servers where they can go. But we should care wheather our members, friends and regulars are getting pissed playing on our server because of a few.

I see your point. But I think if one or two Zonks getting switched and therefore one or two other players as well, we could live with that. It's all for the greater good I wouldn't mind to switch myself.

Well spoken Pandi and Jay. Good that the Zonk kids bedtime was around 10 yesterday. So I had at least for an hour fun on the server again. Jay, I believe persistently splitting them up will make them stay away. No one can say then that XI is banning ppl because they are too good or anything. They were pretty upset the last time when I saw you splitting them up and left soon after. In my opinion that would be a clean solution. It only has to be done consequently. If it's possible to do it automatically, do it please. (eg. always nearly the same number of Zonks in both teams - no matter how many are on) If not, give me admin rights and I will dedicate my time to only do that When they are gone, many players would appreciate that. As Pandi said, our server is for fun and casual ptfo but not for competetive gaming. I don't see that any other clan (VASK etc.) is a problem at all on our server. It's only them Zonks.

Thanks Jay, splitting them up is the way to solve the problem. When XI is playing in one team we don't win every round, cos we are not that serious about all that shit. But they are dead serious. If we keep splitting them up, they might even consider playing elesewhere. Which would be phantastic. Not only are they annoyingly stacking the team, they also have a bad attitude if you suggest them to stop stacking the team. They literally told me to fuck off. Btw. XI was playing on both teams tonight. We mostly are split up anyway.
