Thanks X-Ray and guys.... My day was good... I woke up this morning and drank a bottle of wine. I never been a red wine drinker so I forced it down.. lol at the end I was loving it. Anyway I had a nice buzz playing games with Unexist and Dollardog but others. Then went to lunch and scarfed some MickyDzzzz down. At 4pm my Bro inlaw called we met at another mcdonalds and smoked a joint. Which he ran is battery down listening to the radio to long (meaning he needs a new battery) so I showed him how to push start it since a manual trany. We were both backed and I came home chatted with xray and others.. and plenty of phone calls.. now waiting for dinner and will eat my ass of then .... well finish the joint. So a good day still. hahahaha

here is the post.. try and see if it helps..... but sounds like a different issue but thsi sure helped me. If anyone has windows 7 you may have noticed ur ping in game spike up causing massive amounts of lag. Well last night I was working with X-Ray and he helped me fix this issue and asked I post about it. We first found it could be QOS packet scheduler. I removed QOS from network settings and also did the local group policy to set the default from 20% default to 0 and it did seem to help a little but the lag was still there. Then he X-Ray found this link….. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1043281&highlight=Multimedia+Class+Scheduler Which says to do this…. * Stop and disable the "Multimedia Class Scheduler" service * Run regedit and go to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servi ces\Audiosrv" * Double click on the entry "DependOnService" and delete the line with "MMCSS" from the text box * Reboot and enjoy lag free games This so far has done the trick. I played a couple games and the lag was gone and my ping stayed at 54 to 59 but no more 120-160 spicks like before. Hope this help anyone having the same issue or if you went back to XP or dreadful Vista (hahaha jk xray) because of it. If anyone has any other hints please share. this looks like what I was getting but because of windows 7... by chance do you have windows 7? If so read my post from Monday for the fix. But just one map doing this may be a different issue. Worth a try though.
