Last comment didnt make a difference. I do know the newer ethernet cable i bought a few weeks ago was a Cat 8 from staples. Could that really be an issue? Also since my router is in kitchen where the only coax port works for my internet should i use a long coax cable to put modem near pc or long ethernet cable?

At work right now but I think the issue is my old monitor that is acting as my secondary monitor. I forgot it didn't do well with display port for some reason and had to use HDMI.

I don't get it that much in cod but I do in battlefield 2042, from 190 down to 60. In PGA 400 down to 75 even if I lock frames. Then the others drops are just on desktop then opening up a settings window or any program.

Anyone else experience random freezes for split seconds including the mouse when just opening basic programs on the PC like display settings or anything? Mine has been doing that plus really bad fps drops when navigating menus within games. PGA 2k23 going from 400fps down to 75-100fps just changing menus. I have gone from windows 11 to 10. Different cups of Intel to ryzen with fresh windows installs. Nvidia to AMD GPU. Different ram sticks and driver versions yet still persist to make me think it's a Windows update of some sort. Any ideas?

Has anyone had good luck when buying a CPU or GPU and it just working as is without having to adjust BIOS settings to make them run smoother? Seems like nowayfor ryzen and Intel CPU you have to turn some stuff off for better cooling and performance.

Greetings y'all, I know jusut about every video and article online talks about using the cm/360 rule for matching mouse sensitivities across games. But looking at the photo below, doing so the pixel count would be different since different fov in games so wouldn't that make one game sens be too fast or too slow? My thinking that matching the pixel count by change the cm/360 to match it would give more precise results. Yes i might have to move the mouse more or less physically but wouldn't that actually be true matching? Any thoughts on this or am i being to analytical?

Good evening or whatever time of day you are reading this if anyone does read this at all. I have been quiet with much silence lately because I am going through a strong time of mental and spiritual warfare. I have strong Christian morals and values that I am working on and trying to figure them out as well as my spot in this crazy world. I don't like pressing my views and beliefs on others as I feel that is not right. There are topics of jokes and conversations that i hear all the time when gaming online in voice with people that make me uncomfortable and it's not just on this server. Due to some of the stuff i am going through, sexual jokes/chats really get to me and bother me and i know i am guilty of taking part in it at times which i am sorry for because i am not representing my faith properly and being who i want to be as a man of God. I have been debating on stepping away from these types of servers so i can focus on myself more. I don't know if i really fit in anywhere with these servers at all. Sorry if i sound like a "snowflake" or "Bible thumper" as i dont mean to. I know many of you have asked what is going on with my silence and this is the best and only way i can communicate it.

maybe he needs a break from the verbal and text harassments and wants to refresh/relax with time away. Yes some of it may be joking but not everyone is built mentally the same way and we dont know his past and how it affects him. Thats why sometimes i just am more quiet at night or dont join TS.

Lately I have been having issues with tracking players when aiming down site at them and trying to shoot. Is the red dot in Cod 4 zoomed in? In Cod 5 i dont have this issue. Feels like I am holding the gun with straight arms and my aim bounces around. Any ideas or similar situations?

i get that error at times and just have to restart game

i have the cooler master mm712. i got it sorted out now. fov needed adjusted and fine tune my sens because the sensor of mouse is higher up than normal.

downloading the maps still doesnt fix game crashes for me at least. some of us get an error called "unhandled exception"
