  1. true, but a pre-ban lower is basically the same price as a complete pre-ban rifle, which is twice as expensive as going the pump action route.
  2. It fixed itself, for some reason. don't play it much anymore anyway
  3. So I went to start up bf1 and it will not even launch anymore, It worked fine when I first installed it on my new PC (3 or 4 weeks ago). I tried reinstalling the game, reinstalling the redist packages, checked firewall etc. but nothing has worked. Any ideas on how to fix this? My other games run fine.
  4. Well now that I have a system that can run it I'll be looking into getting it, and we can squad up once I do.
  5. My laptop has a 60Hz 1920x1080p screen so the biggest upgrade in visual hardware will be to that 144Hz. Also 17.3" to a 24" screen is a big difference. DAMAGEPLAN do you have EFT? I've been interested in it, but haven't gotten it due to A] not having an appropriate PC and B] reports of lots of bugs and horrible US servers. Texas when I got my laptop it made sense, I was a college student that was constantly commuting to school and I needed to be able to bring my work with me. It has an i7 processor and a gtx 770m gpu so in its day it could run skyrim, fallout, bf3, etc. on high/ultra settings at 60fps. its only sucks now because of the 3GB vram where most games now need at least 4.
  6. So after trying to play newer games on my old gaming laptop (2014 MSI GT70, gtx770m), and finding them borderline unplayable (20fps mid settings) I decided to go all out and build my first desktop gaming pc. luckily I have a buddy from college who lives nearby and has previous experience with stuff. He built a tentative list of parts for me in my budget and I altered a few things here and there. Everything has arrived safely via FedEx and I'm just waiting till Thursday for my buddy to come over and help me build it. I'll post pics once completed. So on to the parts list! First off everything is going to be seated in a Corsair Carbide 400C ATX Mid Tower Case. It has a hinged smoke window on one side for easy access and viewing. My power supply is a EVGA SuperNOVA G2 750W 80. Plenty of additional power ports for upgrades down the line. My motherboard is a Asus STRIX Z270-E GAMING. It is the top end Strix mobo, but not as crazy as some. For now I'll be running 16GB of Corsair Vengance ram (8GBx2 DDR4). Processor is an Intel i7 6700K 4.0GHz. To cool that down I have a Corsair H100i v2 70.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler. The graphics card I chose is a MSI GTX 1080 Duke 8GB OC. It comes over clocked from the factory and has three cooling fans. The thing is huge, about the length of my forearm. (There was a sale and the Duke was actually cheaper than a standard MSI 1080) Storage is going to be handled by a 250GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD and a Seagate Barracuda 3TB 3.5" 7200RPM HDD. My case has three SSD slots so I'll probably pick up a 500GB or 1TB SSD down the line. FInally I'll get to see everything through an Asus VG248QE 24.0" 1920x1080 144Hz monitor. What do you all think of the build?
  7. A buddy from college helped me out with a potential build list. What do you think? https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mr.Saxy/saved/LDsxrH
  8. It has the 1TB hdd. I did some searching and I'm 98% for building a new pc ground up.
  9. I'm looking to an upgrade soon and I'd prefer to not have to build a whole new rig. Currently I have a 2014 MSI GT70 with a gtx770m card. The highest upgrade I can find for my specific laptop is a gtx980m, but that is still a little outdated considering the power of the newer 1000 series cards (a new 1080 is only about $150 more than a used 980m). Would it be best to go with a full size card and have it mounted externally? If so does anyone know the best way to do so? The 770m card has just been cast into the "outdated" section as most games recomend at least 4gb video memory and it only has 3gb. I'd like to be able to run new games on ultra settings (if not at least very high) with a respectable frame rate. Right now Ghost Recon Wildlands runs at 20fps on medium settings. BF1 runs 40-50 fps on low, but the lack of dedicated vram shows in action heavy scenes with fps drops down to 1-5 range. Just asking you guys because someone is bound to know something.
  10. It's actually a lot different from the Division as it doesn't use the BS random number generator for your gear. All gear is found in crates and is the same for all players. Player level also doesn't matter when teaming up, it only affects your skill progression. enemies aren't bullet sponges and most enemies will go down with one headshot (helmets might take two). The game is also much larger. The Division is around 10 km^2 in size, where as Wildlands is around the 200 km^2 mark (thats 3x the size of GTAV)
  11. Uplay ID is "NAMEN0TFOUNDXI" they have a stupid 15 character limit so I have to change my long ass name on every gaming platform. Profile pick is my white 3000GT sports car.
  12. @@AyaqGuyaq I was referring to the absurd price of a beat to hell AR that has changed hands many times. The local gun store was getting pre-ban AR's from the Texas department of corrections that you could tell had been used daily for 30 years, and selling them for $2k. I wish I had 200,000 rounds lol.
