yea u are right ping lo but the funny part is even tho its considered a lemans the T stands for temptest lol go figure haha..but the story behind the t-37 is that pontiac dropped the lemans and temptest in 70 so they made the t-37s in 70 1/2 and made them one whole yr in 71..interesting part is they were built to be the (poor mans) GTO...so that way people who couldnt afford the gto s could have one but it would be called either the t-37 or gt-37...they could get the same specs as a gto but for half the price...so GTO owners were complainin cause they would spend all that money to get a GTO and here lower income people were buyin the t-37s for half the price and have same motor as a gto...so cause of all the complaints pontiac dropped the t-37 after 71 and startd buildn the lemans and temptest back...they only made 5, 802 t-37 in 71 414 with the 400s and only 66 with the 455s rest were the 350s with 400 turbo trannys in them...
