Today I attempted to get into the minecraft server, and I left my PC running in the hope it would connect. After nearly 10 hours, it still said "logging in". I've dedicated 4GB ram to the launcher (thanks to the guys that helped me with that). 8GB to jvascript. And 8GB to minecraft itself. Windows is left with 12GB to run without issues. I've opened up all ports that minecraft uses, both TCP and UDP...and I just can't connect. The last 5 hours it was attempting to connect without anything running in the background but the basics.
