  1. I'm sorry for your loss.
  2. Beers and EastCoast in the Coast Guard back in the day ...
  3. It starts off, "One time, at band camp ..."
  4. Inspiring, yet overtly insane. You are XI.
  5. Technically, it is not quite safe nor purposeful to drink urine (whether it's your own or someone else's). Even in a survival type of situation , it's not really a good part of a diet. Google your own info. Just my two cents. Good luck and happy drinking.
  6. I'm originally from a uterus, but I can't speak for everyone on here. I did eventually move out of it to a nearby warmer state.
  7. I didn't intentionally drink it, but I pissed myself once while extremely intoxicated. I woke up with a sore throat and a short temper.
  8. Yup. And fucknuggets are best fried.
  9. Welcome to XI!
  10. I agree with you. Beyond basic training, I was further trained, educated and experienced in behavioral science. The human being is a myriad of progression throughout life. What we choose to do with that training, education and real-world experiences as individuals makes the difference and defines us.
  11. That's part of basic training, but some cops slip through the cracks and never get a foothold on it.
  12. I've lived and worked in the urban and suburban environment bordering Washington, D.C., at the Delaware beach and for over 11 years now in the rural western Maryland mountains. Each are different and have challenges, but I believe living nearly 2000 feet above mean sea level has the most. The views, wilderness and wildlife are amazing ... and has some things that most people never get to experience. Black bears, coyotes, bobcats, wild turkey, rattlesnakes ... fishing, hiking, off-roading, shooting sports ... it's all in the hills and FAR away from politics and over-population. All of these videos and photos were taken at the two different properties that I've owned since moving here. Side note: Maryland is a politically corrupt state, but the western counties don't play well with the rest of the state.
  13. Yeah, when I started with a small department at age 20, they didn't require a college degree. However, they ended up paying for mine. The large agency I retired from required a degree for employment, and higher degrees for certain ranks. Personally, I don't believe you need a college degree to be a cop because most states/agencies require annual training and education that meets or exceeds college course studies (law, etc.)
  14. I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my dad in 2016.
  15. I am the new Popeye. I don't sink ships and I don't have loose lips. I thrive, I survive and I stay alive. The bottom line ... I'm a house bitch now. Deal with it. Lord knows I'm trying to ... To all of my fellow retirees, I did it young at 49 years old. The government stills pays me the first of each month. Get out the first chance you get!
  16. Holy shit! That's my ex-wife!
  17. ... and Mrs. EastCoast50. We left the mountain and celebrated the New Year with my old beat partner and his family. He literally survived 2021. Thank you all for another great year on XI and I look forward to many more!
  18. OMG-ah!!!!
  19. I remember the good old days while assigned to the USCG Cutter MoFo (WMEC 69) out of Coast Guard Station Indian River Inlet. The fishing trips, the parties, the chicks, figuring out what a coxswain really was ... whew!
  20. Apparently, that's exactly how I laugh.
  21. A legit photo of me after I graduated from basic state police training ... when I got in to the Coast Guard, it got worse.
  22. Bahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!
