  1. I've been a prepper for quite some time. Anyone else? This is the ammo that has been acquired over time ... Not ALL the ammo, just a quick glimpse. Without reading some of the labeled ammo cans, any quantity and caliber guesses ... and what they travel through?
  2. Update your drivers
  3. She'll only come out at night The lean and hungry type
  4. Oh whoa whoa, she's a man eater ...
  5. Besides being a cop for three decades, I worked in volunteer fire-rescue/EMS during half of that same time period. There is a saying in fire-rescue ... "walk with a purpose". In other words, don't run. Walk swiftly and be capable to perform your task. Well ... it was right before I became a lieutenant I believe ... working house fire. We showed up -- fire showing -- and in full gear started to run up to the front door to make entry. That's when I Peter Griffin'd out on the front lawn. Tripped over something. I was rolling around in the front yard like Randy from the movie A Christmas Story. Full gear ... turnouts, SCBA ... Somebody helped me up off of the lawn and we did our thing. I was a complete idiot. Only later was I taught "walk with a purpose" ... move fast, but cautious. Get the job done and do it right. Life lessons. I'll never forget it. The same thing applies to ALL of us in life. Get it right the first time ... lives depend on it, including your own.
  6. With all due respect, Loader, it is NOT the same law that allows police to open carry. There are separate state laws that define and mandate police officers to TRAIN and QUALIFY with their agency issued or privately-owned firearm and to carry it open or concealed, both off duty and on duty. Federal law (HR218, for example), gives certain trained police officers the ability to carry concealed nationwide during employment and after retirement (me being one of them). These so-called "constitutional audits" are the exact opposite ... they simply prove how uneducated and untrained many firearms activists and/or anti-police people with a camera prove how stupid they really are. Remember the hierarchy: Constitution, federal, state then local laws/ordinances ... the lesser can never super-cede the higher standing. Sure, some cops are idiots, but it's in VERY VERY few numbers. Cops generally possess more education and firearms training (as do military personnel related to training) than the overwhelming majority of these alleged Pro-2A folks out there. If someone claims to be Pro-2A and concealed carry, they should have the training and experience to back it up. Not an attack YOU personally, just facts.
  7. One of the best movie scenes ever ...
  8. "Don't let yourself get attached to anything you are not willing to walk out on in 30 seconds flat if you feel the heat around the corner." Robert De Niro - HEAT
  9. We were all playing on the MW2 server and decided to take a "group photo" of sorts. Not the best, but it was the map we were on ... Basically, it was @MHsDaughter's fault because I had the BEST photo lineup ever on the previous map ... until she whacked me. On purpose. She rolls like that.
  10. During my 30 year police career, I did just about everything ... from small town to large agency, urban policing. Street cop, detective, drug/criminal interdiction, FTO, instructor ... the bottom line is that he was a great leader in the profession. I did similar things that he did, however I was never accused nor prosecuted during my tenure. He was a true leader, but he did fuck up ... at least once, because politics ... and was somewhat vindicated.
  11. Owner and CEO of Skywalker Pool Company. Their motto is "Just use The Force to clean your own fucking pool."
  12. The yard work fucked me up if that counts.
  13. So, my former beat partner (who is still a cop) is in the hospital with COVID. His wife needs help around the house, obviously. They need some yard work done and I sent him a text earlier that said: "Austin and I are going to fuck your yard tomorrow. Apologies in advance." What I meant to say was: "Austin and I are going to fuck UP your yard tomorrow. Apologies in advance." I hope it improved his oxygen levels at least. I'm an idiot. Thanks Obama, Grammarly and spellcheck.
  14. Florida Man
  15. Thank you, Stephanie!
  16. Yes. I am, too on the MW2 server.
  17. ... and all this time I thought you made muffins.
  18. Retired cop ... 30 years. Half of that time volunteer fire-rescue/EMS as well. First sworn in at 19 years old. Handed a gun at age 20. Retired at age 49. Currently a curator for the Coors Light Historical Society ... work from home.
  19. Amateurs ... mine is worth 10 times as much.
  20. Ron could go fishing without a fishing pole or a boat. He got PAID to have sex on screen. Now he's being accused of sex crimes ... as if he NEEDED to do that sort of thing. News media is corrupt.
  21. I attended a wedding with Ron Wood back in Miami back the late 80's. Great band and good people. A huge loss for his family, the band and the audience.
  22. I'm listening to my heart barely beating now ...
