  1. A Hughes 369D (basically a Little Bird) at 40,000 feet? I think some avionics might be a little off.
  2. Thoughts and prayers from the hills. Be well, my friend.
  3. You're gonna do awesome, Barrister (retired). Change is scary, but goals, willpower and determination proves yourself. Do it.
  4. Mine. Been working on the design for #2 tat for several years. Still undecided.
  5. XI ... all the way. https://youtu.be/KDcAZF5rp4A
  6. I had to change my glasses just to cook it. Because grease. So no photos. lol
  7. Good call. We have several different makes/models/years on hand. Been prepping for about two decades now.
  8. I made double bacon, double Swiss cheeseburgers with homemade sauce tonight. Went well, except too much grease (even on toasted buns). Bacon cooked first, then I the cooked burgers in a small amount of bacon grease (drained before cooking burgers). I used ground chuck, so hence the excessive grease thereafter. When burgers were fully done, layered bacon and Swiss cheese atop over heat before putting them all together. Sauce on top and bottom buns. Sauce was simple: mayo, ketchup, mustard and generic steak sauce mixed. Burgers sprinkled with Blackstone Pub Burger seasoning before cooking. @Timmah!
  9. After 30 years on the job (including SWAT and being an instructor), I can tell you that this was a bad shoot for sure. Yeah, the guy was armed with a knife (as stated in the video), but he was NOT attacking the officers nor citizens. He was simply refusing commands to not enter the store. That is NOT cause to be shot in this specific incident. Personally, I have never experienced bad, corrupt cops over my time (thankfully) ... but they exist. Based upon the information provided and the video, the cop that shot the suspect should be arrested, charged and subsequently fired for sure. By the way, the idiot that created the YouTube video misspelled "SHOPLIFTING". Just a note. It matters WHO creates and presents such digital media (as it has been pointed out that the media creates and presents certain false issues these days).
  10. I stuck my finger in the electrical outlet by mistake while checking my computer wiring. My ping is roughly 85 GB a second now. Also, my mouse has been classified as a machinegun by the federal government. They made me pay a $200 tax stamp for it. Oh, before I forget, my cell signal at home has increased by 300%. Good stuff.
  11. I've had a dash cam since the 90's (professional status). Start out cheap and work your way up depending on cost, features, modern PC/cell phone adaptability, and then what you end up running in to along the journey. They're definitely great for personal legal protection, but also cool for recording the worst of humanity. The choice is yours.
  12. Saw him on Friday for the first time in almost three months. He's alive. He looks and sounds good. Positive thoughts.
  13. From this day forward, every LAST word of a grammatically-correct (English) sentence must end in "-ah". This is an official news release from the press office of @MHsDaughter. Additionally, she will no longer accept friend requests on social media unless you are a Barrister. To wit, in her words, "I don't care!"
  14. He's the old man with the M4 and a walker.
  15. Heterosexual turtles. Because science.
  16. Lt. Dan Friz Montgomery County County Police (Maryland) ... our old style badge, but it's traditional.
  17. In memory of those that I knew, worked with or simply met during the course of our respective careers: Trooper Kevin J. Mallon - Delaware State Police (Troop 7) Trooper Gerard T. Dowd – Delaware State Police (Troop 7) (I had lunch with him at Bethany Beach PD just before he was killed) Trooper Sandra Marie Wagner – Delaware State Police (I talked to her at the DSP Academy during her recruit training) Officer Scott Kern – Baltimore County Police Department (Formerly Fenwick Island PD, Delaware. A friend) Police Officer III Luke Timothy Hoffman – Montgomery County Police, MD (I replaced him on the shift after he was killed) Sergeant Hector Ismael Ayala – Montgomery County Police, MD (We shared the same fleet car at the 4th District Station that he died in) Captain Joseph Mattingly, Jr. - Montgomery County Police, MD (I met him while I was a cop in Delaware a week or two before he was killed. I ended up working with his daughter on the job at MCP)
  18. Thank you -- and everyone -- for supporting our cops, firefighters, EMT's and medics.
  19. Just watched Air Force Two (VP Harris) fly from Andrews AFB to Norfolk International Airport. Wonder what she's up to this time? Hmmm ....
