245 is a pretty good connection if you are in austalia thats right. maby when you do /cl_maxpackets 100 in console u get a little bit better even. Its just wird, because you people are closer to the us than i am. i am in the nederlands on the border of germany and my ping is only 99. i think everyone shud get google fiber optic for free LOL.

yea. i had the same feelings about that. the motherbord shud be broken, OR needs a new bios update, but no it realy was the CPU. Never had or / seen something like this. Glad it is working now.

Finely after long waiting my new CPU + fan came in. After doing some test, like i ealyer said aswell was that the CPU was broken, and yes so it was. New cpu + fan installed today, and it is running like an motherfucker. Windows 7 clean install done and updated. So here's the specs Intel icore I 5 hashwell 4430 HD 4600 gigabyte G1 sniper B5 motherbord. 4gb DDR3 RAM 1TB SSD Windows 7 - professional Thanks for all of your help earlyer. Thank god it is running fine now.

I am not 100% with you there. Hackers have not invated the server at all if you ask me. Me and pete had an hacker in the server yesterday, i record the guy, and when i was done pete banned the guy. End of story, proof given on the forums, no change to come back at all times in any >XI< server. Done deal.! The problem with this is, is that in over the years there has been a group and i call them the "The smart hackers". People that hack but know what they are doing. They dont shoot trough a wall, run trough a map like you and me shud do, and they even talk in game to let people think nothing is wrong with them... The problem with this kind of hackers is, is that it is pretty hard for an admin to get them on video because they know what they are doing. and trust me on my word, i spectate alot, and i am not even an admin, if i could get anyone hacking on video it goes directly to the admins and i am a 10000% sure they will get banned right away. And beside that, if we dindt had rules like this to record a guy, before we bann them, we had by far now an empty server because if we could ban without proof we shud not had google in our clan or an iboomboom or a goooney. Dont we all know how they have been made out for hackers along time before they where admin or >XI< member ??? and alot of us forget things like that. And that why it is so freaking hard to ban a real hacker. U need the proof, but to get it is maby even harder than Anything els.! That is what i think.

We found the problem. See the problem is this, The motherbord seems to been released earlyer than the i5 4430 processor. So what happend is, is that the bios on this motherbord not seems to support this i5 processor. What they did is that they created a new version bios instead. So lets say: The original version is Bios F5 but to support an I5 4430 processor you need bios version F8. So, what i need to do is upgrade the motherbord to bios F8, But that seems not to work with the processor i have because before the motherbord wants to work with the processor u need an older type of 1150 socket processor so that you can make the update, and than after updating it push in the new processor and it shud be fine. The shitty thing is, is that i do not have an older 1150 processor, so i called the factory and i can sent it back in RMA and they will do the update for me and than sent it back to me so i can finely build on and start using the new computer. ***Special thanks to KaptCrunch and Smurf|NL for helping me out finding the supported bios and downloads*** i shall contineu this post as soon the bord returns and let u all know how it is going with the new computer and make some picture's when complete done.

Yeah. Sounds like an good plan. They sold it to me, let them find it out indeed. It is realy a shame, because it is such a nice motherbord and sending it back in RMA take's allways to bloody long. I called them yesterday, Hope they respons today so i can swap it over quick. Never used Gigabyte before, Allways had ASUS, But this was such a good looking bord with the case and the lightning that i realy wanted to give it a try. I already feel sorry to my self about this sinds this is the first try and right away it goes wrong.

But.... How will i install this bios when it is getting stuck after 20seconds when i press the startup button. I dont get it.

i did that, but nothing happens. i have 2 x 2 gb 1600 and another 2x 4 1300 and both are noth working the first one is kingston and the second one is croshair, both very good brands, and both giving the same issue.

When i start it up it takes about 5 to 8 seconds to start up the CPU fan. This is not plugged in wrong because there is only one CPU fan controll slot, all the others are called system fan controller slots. When i release the battery on the board and replace it, it starts up saying your settings are reset, would u like to enter your bios ? when you press yes, it does go to the bios but, after 5 seconds it gets stuck, and you need to reset the computer before you can do anything with it again. All this with only the motherbord on the mobo box ( not buld in ) with only 1 memory ddr3 pc1600 in it and the cpu + fan installed. When i start up without going to the bios it says, no proper boot device, this is correct because there is no hdd or dvd connected, as soon as i do that, the pc wont even start, or starts with an blue screen. I sented the company an e-mail. The factory will sent me a ticket that i can print out for an RMA, because i dont know what to do more. Seems that i tried everything i could test and try out before sending it back. ill let u guys know when there's an update.

It does that yes. It goes on and off and on and off and on and off some times. sometime's its just getting stuck after 20 seconds or doenst start up at all. I have got an dvd with the board, and i can press END to do an bios flash. shud i try that before sending it back ?

So i had this freaking problem yesterday. Maby some one knows what i am dealing with. So i buyed this G1 sniper B5 socket 1150 LGA motherboard with a I5 processsor. build everything in, and it was looking great, it even went on when i pressed the button. After i started up, after 20seconds i was just stuck, did not do anything anymore and got some wird blue error screen without any message. After removing all its hardware like the SSHD and the blueray drive, it still had the same problems. I changed the DDR3 1600mhz with my own 1333 mhz but this did not help at all. It did accept the memory but the same problem was still there. I changed the power supply with the i have in my I7 gaming pc, but than the pc did not even wanted to start up. ?? How wird that is heh ? So, if anyone knows why this motherboards get stuck after 20seconds, please let me know. I realy do not know how to deal with this problem. Shud the motherboard be broken, and shud i sent it back just in case to check out if that is realy causing the problems ? Thanks for ya help.
