  5. my neighbor used to have a Peacock; talk about a loud motherfucker. First time I heard it, I was like, WTF was that? First you hear a loud 'honk' like a giant goose, then this Very loud vocalization unlike anything else I've ever heard. He liked to occasionally roost on my roof & chill in the yard; was tame enough to hand feed.
  6. Cost less than $2.00 to make a pizza. $0.20 for dough, $0.25 sauce, $1.00 for generous cheese, $0.50 for mushrooms 35 cent for yeast which you can keep going for the rest of your life. =)

  8. I've had those...colors were really, really, vivid for hours.
  9. Smoke weed, tell a good joke, make some good grub...I've managed to find one or two. =)
  10. Apparently, from what a friend told me, it's a Red Ear Slider.

  13. Smothered with 3/4 cup brown sugar, 1 Tablespoon Chicago Steak Seasoning, 1 Tablespoon Montreal Steak Seasoning, then baked @ 300 F for 2.5 hours, then coated with SBR bbq sauce & placed under broiler for 2 minutes. Very Nice.
  14. Lol, I left her be, to do her thing. She was gone when I came back an hour later; and the spot was neatly filled and tamped back down flush with the surrounding topography. So I will leave it be & avoid mowing that spot until they hatch in a couple months. She was about 12" in length.
  15. Came across her laying a clutch on the North side of my abode. I'm guessing a Map Turtle from what I could discern from the interwebs.
  16. Bacon, mushroom, 4-cheese pizza with basil & garlic mixed into the dough. Dough @ 60% hydration with 3-day-old poolish of 1/3. Was VERY nice. =) Total cost: ~$2.00.
  17. This is a good starting recipe: https://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/bobby-flay/pizza-dough-recipe-1921714 Here's a site with MUCH information & his recipe; you can even order cultures for top-quality pizza dough. It's the bacteria that give the dough flavor & why it's set in the fridge to do it's thing for 2-3 days; only after that is the dough brought to room temperature to allow the yeast to make it rise. http://www.varasanos.com/pizzarecipe.htm
  18. Get well, brother. =)
  19. Happy Birthday!
