  3. The greener the pepper, the milder it is; if you remove the vein and seeds from a green jalapeno it is very mild & has great flavor. Try it sometime.
  4. Lol...it wasn't that large of a pizza ~10 inches...& it was thin crust (cutting down on those carbs)...only ate 1/2 of it. =)
  5. Oh yeah! Tastes even better than it looks. Dough from scratch, of course.

  13. To be sure, France helped the colonists out of a grudge with England, having lost no less than two recent colonial wars to them, so they teamed up with Spain to work the British naval fleet over before they even hit the high seas; the United States was a convenient tool used to pull England's resources away from other extant contended territories; the U.S. was a tool in a proxy war. Was a win-win for the U.S. as France then was motivated to sell the Louisiana Territory at a steal, being financially stretched thin. They bet that England would pull resources away and direct them to quash the 'rebellion'; but as you say, the Crown made the wise decision and pulled resources to other more-profitable holdings such as plantations in the Carribean, etc.

  16. Actually, if it weren't for the French the United States wouldn't exist in it's present form. They supplied: Military uniforms, boots, rifles, at least 75% of the gunpowder, military training, diplomatic inroads, diplomatic training, naval escorts for merchant ships trading with Europe, supportive naval interference of teh British heading this way...just about anything you can imagine that was needed in a conflict they provided. To hear you tell it, a bunch of farmers were gonna win it single-handed. Also, there was no active conflict between the U.S. & the U.K. in the late 19th century as you purport. And the U.S. had a nascent naval fleet at best & was in no condition to go sailing to England or anywhere else to kick anyone's ass.

  21. Try: Opening a new tab then clicking the 3 vertically oriented dots at the top-right of your page; click 'settings' (should be 3rd from bottom on the drop down menu), scroll all the way down & click 'advanced' at the bottom of the page, scroll to the bottom again & click 'Restore Settings To Their Original Defaults' under 'Reset & Cleanup'.
  22. So, do you flinch when she walks by on those days you're being a bad boy?
