Delete the map and download it again. Something is probably corrupt in it.

DVD upscaling is excellent too. Not much in it between bluray and DVD of lotr!

I got an lg which has apps like Netflix on it. It has an Ethernet port so you can play network films on it. Haven't had any problems with it. LgBD320 I think.

Same with raptr. Twitch is on there.

The problem with the buitl in game recording is making sure the mods match. Also, in the past we had problems with it not looking the same on different computers. It isn't as reliable as a screen capture direct from the graphics card IMO. Raptr works excellently for this....I'll post a video today to show.

The way to do it would be to include a small water mark in the hud somewhere so each mod is identifiable from a screenshot or video regardless or recording software. then they could just include a screenshot with the recording so the mod in the recording is identifiable. You could bind a key to take a screenshot and then start recording too.

Actually, I only tried this because raptr was not working for cod4. I have now found a solution though. There is a little app that helps you put your games in windowed borderless mode and it works really well. Raptr now records COD4 happily and better quality than evolve. The demo files (.dm1) is there a way to convert these to a youtube friendly file? Or do you then have to record the playback using something else?

Just tried evolve for game recording and it didn't affect my fps enough to worry. Set to high quality, 30 seconds (ish) was around 200MB. Test video will be here once uploaded (9 minutes apparently).

The built in record function is ok, but it is not a versatile format. Raptr is pretty good for chat, social and video recording....although, I am struggling to get the video recording to work with COD4 at the moment. In this day and age, everyone gets their emails immediately, or within minutes depending on their smartphones sync rate, so a chat system outside of the PM and Forum system we have in place on the website is extraneous. We may as well just use whatsapp!

Laggy video even after pre buffering, although my system monitor shows: CPU max - 65% Graphics card max - 13% RAM max 39% With the right monitor, I bet it would play.

1080 on my phone runs really smooth, but it won't offer any higher choices. I'll try my PC when I can be arsed getting up.

Think it's the saritch.... looks like it is drawing over other effects. Almost looks like its glowing on some dusty maps.

Sorry dude, I totally hijacked your thread and stole your hobby away from you. I won't do the next one. I had to replace his ear with a random one from a stranger and overlapped it with his ear and blended it. His left eyebrow (right as you look at it) had to be copied from the left as the original eyebrow was lost to fingerprints and tea stains. I ended up using the colour replacement tool to alter the tone of the face and then the burn and dodge tools for highlight and shadows to put some of the facial shading back to how it should look. To soften the outline of the body against the backdrop (It doesn't look like a great separation in the original as it will have been a B&W photo hand painted) I used the lasso to create a separate layer, then select the object and reduced selection by one pixel and feathered by 2 pixels.... invert selection and the eraser around the outside.

I think if I do any more, he's going to end up looking like David Guest!
