  1. Just tried evolve for game recording and it didn't affect my fps enough to worry. Set to high quality, 30 seconds (ish) was around 200MB. Test video will be here once uploaded (9 minutes apparently).

  3. Not sure if it shows up on here
  4. The built in record function is ok, but it is not a versatile format. Raptr is pretty good for chat, social and video recording....although, I am struggling to get the video recording to work with COD4 at the moment. In this day and age, everyone gets their emails immediately, or within minutes depending on their smartphones sync rate, so a chat system outside of the PM and Forum system we have in place on the website is extraneous. We may as well just use whatsapp!
  5. Laggy video even after pre buffering, although my system monitor shows: CPU max - 65% Graphics card max - 13% RAM max 39% With the right monitor, I bet it would play.
  6. 1080 on my phone runs really smooth, but it won't offer any higher choices. I'll try my PC when I can be arsed getting up.
  7. Think it's the saritch.... looks like it is drawing over other effects. Almost looks like its glowing on some dusty maps.
  8. Camera phone shot of sky above York Castle.
  9. A friend of mine taking the Father in law up for a birthday flight. My Daughter watching the planes taking off!
  10. Some really great pics guys.
  11. Sorry dude, I totally hijacked your thread and stole your hobby away from you. I won't do the next one. I had to replace his ear with a random one from a stranger and overlapped it with his ear and blended it. His left eyebrow (right as you look at it) had to be copied from the left as the original eyebrow was lost to fingerprints and tea stains. I ended up using the colour replacement tool to alter the tone of the face and then the burn and dodge tools for highlight and shadows to put some of the facial shading back to how it should look. To soften the outline of the body against the backdrop (It doesn't look like a great separation in the original as it will have been a B&W photo hand painted) I used the lasso to create a separate layer, then select the object and reduced selection by one pixel and feathered by 2 pixels.... invert selection and the eraser around the outside.
  12. I think if I do any more, he's going to end up looking like David Guest!
  13. Is it immediate or after playing for a while?

    New PC build

Just get two pairs of pliers and bend the wrench to the angle he suggested.
  15. Looks good to me!
  16. Knifing seems better. SC 2010 sounds the same whether it is 50 feet or 5 feet away though. Its impossible to locate shooter by sound.
  17. This is awesome!
  18. Got my hard drive from dabs. They're pretty could for components but sometimes you just want a pro to build it.
  19. That is the way forward I think. I was considering colour replacement tool, but only because its something I need practice with. Or masking and hue\saturation. I can't wait to see yours. I cheated with the back drop here and just replaced it. I don't like the join of background and person, but it was a hurry as we were going out.
  20. I had a go, not finished yet, but tidied up the blemishes and backdrop. Just need to finish the face and sort out the tone so he doesn't look like a simpsons character.
  21. Or stick in Dropbox and share the link.
  22. For all those saying payment will be required after upgrade.
  23. 3 seconds in and I'm thinking, if she says cunt, I'll eat a strangers shit! Also, dozy cow got the origins of dogs bollocks wrong. When Lego was first introduced it came in two different packs... Box Standard and Box Deluxe... These evolved as the expressions bog standard and dogs bollocks.
