  1. I seen that on the news. Stay safe out there! My town had a shooting downtown a few weeks ago. Left 12 injured and 6 dead. Ended up being gang related. I think they caught most of them so far.
  2. Decent price too. I need to get another grill first, but after that maybe a stick burner as well.
  3. Sorry, Prof helps influence my adhd.. Lol
  4. No one likes taco’s?? Or mine suck? Lol I’m good with that.. what do y’all make?
  5. The latest tritip.. I really need to try something else, but so far this is what the family has requested. I loved how this one turned out though. Last round I smoked cold (initial temp 36ish°, smoker at 175°.. pulled at 140°) for just about 4 hours, (Never frozen) Then a short sear on the grill. The smoke flavor was really nice! This one I vacuum froze seasoned. Defrosted. Smoked at 180°. Put on at roughly 60°. The temp raised fast sense it was basically at room temp. Ended up pulling at 138°. Moved over to the grill that was roughly 300ish°… flipped to desired crisp/bark/push tender test.. idk if that’s a thing.. but it worked for me. Ended up being medium. Once I pulled it from the grill. The fat was still rendering from the pours.. Turned out pretty good. Edit; My bbq sauce glazed once on the grill. Next edit; @HotRod55 Meat Church recommendation. I want to try the Costra Breakfast Taco recipe! Cheese tortillas.. ftw! Check out North Texas BBQ Addicts on Facebook, it’s more meat porn then anything..No porn intended. They give a lot of tips when asked though. Also, I’m still 20 minutes from you.. don’t be stingy with those cross seared steaks!!
  6. Thank you for your service! And welcome to the forums!
  7. *Reader advised; Sikon has been drinking again! I love homemade tacos and burritos. I'm white living in NorCal.. so my range is limited! lol Lets see them pink tac.. I mean fully cooked tacos! This is my current (give or take) taco recipe.. Nothing crazy, I like them though. 2-3 lbs of carne asada or flank stake. Trimmed, then sliced accordingly. Add salt and pepper to taste. Add Kinder's; The Taco Blend. Let rest.. drink.. smoke.. get everything else ready.. (Once meat is half or 2/3s done cooking, add a lot more Kinder's; Taco Bland to taste untill done. ) 1 can of corn drained, I like to ad a small amount of sugar, mixed in. 1 can of black beans, I tend to rinse in a strainer. 1 can of refried beans, Microwave a minute to thin out. Add small amounts of water if dry, then microwave 30 sec more. Generally, do this close to the end. Mexican shredded cheese Pico de gallo Sour Cream Cotija cheese (on top) Pepper to taste (on top) Small to medium tortillas Assembled; Tortilla Refried beans, thin layer. Carne asada Corn Black beans Shredded cheese Pico de gallo Cotija cheese Pepper
  8. Welcome back to the forums. Nice pictures! I was an operator for a while. These are a few from back then. This company is no longer around though.
  9. All good brother. All of the same weapons are available at lvl 1. The rank really only shows you have experience with that current mod, unlike the original version of the game. If you have anymore issues or questions refer to the xI cod4 forums. Edit, Oh.. you’ve been a member forever. You know where the forums are… lol!
  10. Your ranks and load outs do save, just not on the server itself. They save in a folder where cod4 is installed on your pc. In my case I run win10 operating system and steam. So, the file location for me is.. C:\Program Files (86x)\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty 4\players\profiles if before reinstalling the game or reformatting your pc. You can just save that folder. Then once it’s reinstalled. All of your ranks and load outs will be saved. Same goes for the mod folders and map folders. Or really, I guess you could save the whole cod4 folder before any changes.. install the game. Then drop the contents of the folder in the new installed cod4 folder and over write it. Essentially save it all of your game data would be saved.
  11. If you reinstalled the game. You probably didn’t save your profile folder located in the cod4 file location, maybe?
  12. I have two slots, and the graphics card takes up both of them. The card isn't meant for this computer, but I made it fit. Not realizing at the time that I wouldn't even get the full benefits of it. I seen SC pixels in my future and ran with it. I even cut out a 1/4x1/4 inch of fins with a dremel flat disk to make it fit due to the motherboard specs to make it fit.. figured fuck it, I bought it.... lets see!!! And it worked! Not realizing at the time that the card was pcie 16x and the slot of 8x. So, getting half of what i paid for essentially.. Maybe? Yeah, your on point. I too think about building a pc from time to time and newer package PCs can be just as good with some research. Then I find other hobbies and i'm like.. whatever. However, the main 'gaming' computer as it stands.. That doesnt involve any day to day stuff like work or school.. Does tend to get used daily. Where as my family is like, it turns on.. I'm like.. but does it?? Lol.. I'm no IT guy.. I never took the time to learn programing.. I've never been rich.. But, I grew up with as a 'nerd' so to say. So, I've always understood computers. Even if I haven't kept up with the latest tech. The generally consensus has always been the same. Hardware.. this fits here, that fits there. With programming and graphics forever evolving. But, i'm drunk right now and rambling... so yes!.. I spilled beer on my keyboard! You didn't need to call me out.. Stone IPA Delicious.. FTW..
  13. Wow! All of those look amazing! I've got some work to do!! @tsw 8.5 Defiantly has his smoke dialed in. He has the over all look I'm looking for with as much time that's put into this. Looks fucking good! hah.. I haven't researched it yet, but how do you deal with different meats that would generally have different cook times? Opening the smoker tends to drop the temp and plateau the temp for a bit? @bds1961Hell yeah, yours looks good! I've read that a lot so far that a cast iron is the way to go to get the desired bark and add even more flavor for a TriTip. Honestly, I don't have a cast iron at the moment. I don't know why? I think because I don't have a lot of experience with them.. So, I haven't made the leap.. even though they are not expensive. I definitely need to get on that though. Also, I'm using a Traeger Pro 780. Sooo.. season it.. set it.. get drunk.. then creative at the end! Lol.. If I get good at, I'll have to invest into an actual stick burner like TSW for some REAL flavor! I've lived all over the US going up.. Out in the sticks of Arkansas, Joliet, IL., Central NY, Upstate NY, and more.. but my family is from Dallas, Texas. I've lived there on and off through out the years in the suburbs. Addison, Carrollton, Lewisville, Denton etc. The one thing I've always loved was the BBQ in curtain places there.. especially the brisket! California has good tritip.. but.. Texas brisket.. It's not really comparable! So, honestly that's my end goal with the smoker.. I have seen some Post oak pellets. I only hope it tastes as good as the real thing once I feal confident enough to try it! lmao One more EDIT,, as usual.. I'm also taking another cruise at the end of month.. This time passing through Austin, Tx.! So, I'm going to try and stop at Franklins! Hopefully! If you know you know.. I'll try and post pictures and review..
  14. I bought a smoker about 5 month ago, honestly just set it up about one month ago. Got it on discount.. $400 off retail because it was missing a $20 leg. I finally purchased the leg and set it up.. I’m not disappointed! The results so far.. Generally I have smoked to desired temp, then switch to the grill to sear adding my bbq sauce mixture. Some of the first ones I seared then on to the stove and wrapped.. I didn’t end up like wrapping them like I would off the grill. So I started searing on the grill. Then let rest. I’m still learning, but it has all teased great. Meats in pictures include TriTip, boneless chicken breast and bacon wrapped chicken with cheese inside. IMG_8348.MOV
  15. Is it worth more upgrades? Seems like replacing anymore would conclude to replacing nearly everything. My gaming pc is not a high end pc. Average at best, if it was 2010.. in my opinion anyways.. Trash = { "this" : "is" , "trash" : "pc" } print ( trash [ "this" ] ) ; C:\\del*.* My PC Brand: Acer Model: number AT3-710-UR56 Motherboard: h11h4-ad2 (I think?) Processor: ‎i5 6400 Speed‎ 2.7 GHz RAM: 16 GB DDR3 1600Mhz Hard Drive: ‎2 TB SATA Hard Drive: Speed‎ 5400 RPM Backup Hard Drive: Seagate 8 TB SATA (Upgrade) Graphics: GeForce GTX 745 (Upgraded to 1650 Super OC. However, bottlenecked at 8x pcie. Barely fit..) Monitor: Samsung 27" Odyssey Gaming Monitor CRG5 Curved LED FHD Monitor With G-Sync (Upgrade) Power Supply: 300 Watts (Upgraded to Thermaltake TR2 500W) Mouse: Logitech G502 SE High Performance RGB Gaming Mouse (Upgrade) Headphones: Logitech G935 Wireless 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming Headset (Mic took a shit sense kids went on spring break, lol.) Keyboard: Basic Dell from amazon. Had a good Microsoft keyboard, also recently stopped working. Internet 1,200 mbps. (Assumingly bottlenecked by the pc. Normally runs 600 mbps into the low 900s. I have never seen higher than that. I normally play wired in, not wifi.) Also, deleted windows that came with the "packaged" pc and downloaded the latest verson from Windows. Less bloatware.. and changed a few settings to speed up memory and processes. We have multiple pcs better than this, however those are laptops normally used for school or office work. Thoughts? It works great if we're just searching the internet or lower demanding games. Newer games, it works fine initially for a few maps or until ridiculous kill streaks start dropping on the map.
  16. I’ve worked a lot of accidents, the vehicle is replaceable.. Is your family okay?
