Seen just now on mp_docks_n : an enemy, that was frozen, but didn't have a bubble. He was just standing there, without a bubble. He got frozen while climbing up a ladder. Couldn't take a screenshot I had reported this issue already about a teammate, on another map, who was frozen but whose bubble I couldn't see. I hadn't seen how he got frozen, but it may very well have been while he was climbing a ladder. He was frozen at (or close to) the top of a ladder, that much I remember. EDIT: seen right after posting this: another frozen guy, at the top of a ladder, without a bubble on him, but his bubble was on the ground below him. I don't remember that the other 2 guys I mentioned above had their bubble below them, but I can't say 100%.

Our discussion yesterday @Daddyo made me want to go hiking. So I had everything prepared for today. But the weather is shite... So instead I'll just post photos from a hike last year, in Siggaboda Naturreservat in Southern Sweden. Sweden -especially south- is a flat country, filled with lakes and forests and lakes and forests. Doesn't make for very challenging hikes, but it is beautiful. I had a lot of fun on this one, the challenge consisted mostly in finding the path though the vegetation - the path appears on every picture here hehe, apart from the one with the lake.

I played a couple of hours this afternoon and didn't notice anything wrong with the minimap ice icons. Just the occasional empty bubble ingame, but nothing wrong on the minimap that I noticed. I haven't used cars today so can't answer to that part. Server did act up on the map mp_dustcod4 though, ended the map after the 2nd or 3rd round. But I've seen that happen a few days ago on some other map on the test server as well.

I think the separation of RCs is a massive improvement compared to the previous insanely overpowered kill+defrost RC. For what it's worth, that RC and its overuse was literally what kept me off the MW2 server on 146. Now it doesn't. Both RCs are still very powerful for its very low cost of 2 frags with Hardline (several defrosts OR one kill + temporary protection + free respawn + possibility to spy in behind enemy lines), but it is considerably more balanced this way I think. I'm against the possibility for the defrost car to blow up and make damage, otherwise it would be exactly the same as the 146 version, wouldn't it? But yes to having the possibility to get out of the RC before the end of the timer.

Playing on 1.47, like the changes very much so far! Seen just now on mp_deserttown_v1, a frozen teammate didn't show as frozen. I saw him alive, no bubble on his body, and he didn't appear as frozen on the minimap either. Only after a few seconds looking at him and around him did his bubble pop up, but he had been frozen for a longer time than this. I couldn't give many more details.

Mostly CoD4 FT1 at the moment, and a bit of Heroes of Might & Magic VII. A couple of races on Re-Volt now and then too. Also doing loads of nonograms, if that counts ?

Hard to say! I'll have to pick several as well: Shining Force 2, Carmageddon, Ascendancy were absolute jewels, always an absolute pleasure to go back to these. Then I'd put Wildstar for the MMOs and Unreal Tournament 2004 for the shooters. Hard to say which one of these 5 games would be at the top of the list...

I didn't know anyone on the game at first, I stayed a long while on my own and did a lot of pickup, and joined a guild at some point for more serious raiding. Good times, good times. Shit, reading and writing about it makes me want to try again haha

Used to play WoW a lot 10+ years ago, mostly during BC and WotLK. It was amazing. I had to stop when I moved to Ireland for studies, but I would lie if I said I didn't miss it. I gave it a try several more times, but, eh, never really clicked again. Probably because in the meantime I discovered other MMORPGs, like Wildstar -what a masterpiece it was...!- or FFXIV, with much more diversified battle systems, and more demanding too in the case of Wildstar. Going back to WoW after playing these two games feels... dull. Combat really felt boring last time I tried, during BfA. It always tickles a bit though, so if reviews for this extension are excellent, I may just cave in again and give it another try.
