CoD4 FT1 I guess, it was severely acting up yesterday. It didn't look like it was a problem with one map in particular, as the server crashed on different maps. The server admins were working to try and fix it, don't know how it ended, but all it was certainly not by choice or pleasure that the server got restarted with the same maps coming back. I can't say much more. Just that that sort of things happens, always have always will, sure it's too bad but there's nothing to do but wait until it gets fixed - and thank the people who fixed it afterwards.

@Streetcleaner I just listened to the last videos you posted, really nice stuff! I had never heard of Green Jelly, had heard of but never listened to Scatterbrain, I'll definitely listen to more of their stuff. I hadn't listened to Infectious Grooves in years, always feels good. And Primus, oh, Primus. Saw them live for their Chocolate Factory tour a few years back, it was brilliant. Today's contribution, in the same vein I'd say:

I watched the first 5 minutes, it is entertaining, I'll give you that! I can understand how people would get hooked on these videos, they use the same narrative and rhythm as many action films, and with that spooky music in the background... Then add some whoosh! effect, low-cost (but maximal effort) editing, and you can do whatever you want with the select footage of your choice. Then you just have to find people who are bored enough to actually believe that any of that makes sense. That's it for our course Conspiracy Video 101!

Thank you! This has probably reached you already, on the map mp_82ab_trenchwarfare, all players from both teams spawn at the exact same position at the beginning of each round. Don't know if that's enough to pull it, just thought I'd report this.

Ohhh fanfics are awesome! Episode 2 soon please! For the sake of argument, and because just mocking you would just reinforce your beliefs, I read the whole thing, and... Well, I'm not convinced. Please provide actual proof for what you're saying. And I mean for all of it.

Josh helped me out yesterday on TS, and it looks as if it's all solved! It was all about CoD4 graphics settings. As I had most of my settings off, we turned many of them on again, which removed entirely the flickering. It became very laggy and difficult to play though, so I set again some settings to off, one by one. At the end I only had Dual video cards and Sync every frame on. Still quite a lot of lag. I turned Sync every frame off, which removed pretty much all lag and doubled my FPS. A tiny, tiny flickering came back with that, but occurring much more seldom than before, and nowhere near as annoying. I can live with that. Thank you @FunkyJosh>XI< ! @Oster I haven't had the occasion to use the community patch before Josh took me through these settings, and now that the problem is solved I'll keep it that way. Thanks for the tip though!
