it's the admin's decision, and we just have to deal with it.
But if veoz comes in and 4 or 5 players are leaving just because of him, then I think it's not a good thing to let him stay in the server, but again it's your decision.

Remember when my son played here, was just too good, a pro, many player complained about him, that he hacked. we talked about it with the admins and decided not to allow it in this server anymore. good decision. my son was not happy, but we do it for the other players to have fun.

You have much to learn about your new home @sven I've known Vee and alot of the other players over there for atleast 10 years. Veector used to play on the OG COD4 Ftag Server 1 and 2 with us all of the time. 4, 5, 6:00am in the morning on the weekends. Drunk as shit and having fun till the wee hours. lol

DOH! Some idiots just don't even try to learn from there mistakes.

 

ESC and F4H both have decent Freezetag servers up. Go over there and bug them but I warn you now, they are more strict then we are. F4H is active during the day (mostly on weekends) and ESC is active every night from around 9PM till 3AM. 

Bad thing about all servers ran by old-timers Is that there is a huge skill gap when an experienced player joins. I feel like most bans we're done because some players we're just too good to be true. No hate, been playing this game for a long time and I've seen it everywhere. Just how things are

If you install the COD4x mod you can go up to 125 maxpackets.  It makes about a 10% lower ping for me when I do that.  

Our servers are stock COD4 1.7 and after each game on the MW2 FT it resets to the 100 so you need to change your client back to 125 again.

For me it resets every few seconds and its random

I could be mistaking the reason for the ban I'm just not aware at the moment because I hadn't played for a day or so then come back banned. Maybe I was banned previously and it just didnt affect me until now

   I am a regular on the XI Freezetag mw2 server and Sometimes my GUID gets banned for no reason. This has been happening for a few years now. I stop playing for a few days, come back, and I'm banned again. It's kind of an on-and-off thing. Thankz

A little background information before I get started. The command "cl_maxpackets X" is a console command that changes the maximum number of packets sent to the server per second. The higher this value is set at (Any integer from 15 to 125) the lower your ping will be and the more stable your connection to the server. The Freezetag 1 server is currently sitting at "cl_maxpackets 30" which is very low and results in around 15-20 more ping than you would get using 100 or 125. For example, my ping would go from 54 to 34 if it was set at 100/125. Someone with 110 ping would go to around 90 and someone with 100 ping would goto 80. This would provide a better experience for all players. The default cl_maxpackets can be changed in the server.cfg. Please consider this. @Ruggerxi

Another thing I'd like to add is that the other MW2 Ftag server uses 100 packets. But for some reason this server is defaulted on 30.

Best ping Latin americans get is in Miami or Atlanta servers def not west  

But this is very good for australians as they are a lot closer to this server and anyone from brisbane or sydney would get 160-170 ping
