  1. There was that thought. But there are some combinations that might have been too much. And yes at this point that would be a considerable rewrite of it all.
  2. Delete the map. When it comes around again download it again and see what happens. I deleted it from the server last night and uploaded a fresh copy. Will see if that helps. Or not.
  3. I made up the defroster uav instead. It is much more powerful. Of course it wont kill anybody.
  4. Yea for ftag 'cowards way out' is meaningless. Only really works in matches where you respawn normally. Might just disable that for the gametype. Yes that is why bombsquad/hacker is useful. Especially with a team that actually talks to each other. Also likely something more useful on normal tdm matches with lots of people running around and nobody frozen.

  8. I have had games gifted to me but never actually bought anything from them. My friends list seems to work. But I only have a couple people on it. Maybe I am not that friendly.
  9. The mines will last for up to four bursts. Requiring 30 seconds of recharge after each one. Which is why you only get one. Thought about doing two of them, like betties, with each only having one burst. But thought this would be an interesting difference considering there are already emp nades. Maybe the 1-time method with two mines is better? As for Hardwired, it has gone through a long time of tweaking to find an acceptable balance on this server. Like Goldilocks. edit: for thermal, no I cant do that. No place to store the data.

  15. Hmmm. That is odd. Worked for me last time I got hit with it. Yesterday or day before. Maybe there is a special case somewhere that needs to be accounted for. Will check it out. I assume when you used the medkit you got a message that you were healed. I think that is there.
  16. In general, the tiers are supposed to be in three categories. Weapon upgrades (stopping power), weapon proficiencies (sleight of hand), and special abilities (dead silence), The idea was that you choose one of each. Edit: sorry posted that wrong. Should be weapon proficiencies, special abilities, and extra equipment. Would this layout work? I dont think I missed anything or see any conflicts. Tier 1: Steady Aim, Double Tap, Stopping Power, Sonic Boom, Armor Piercing, Venom, Sleight of Hand Tier 2: Second Chance, Lightweight, Objective, Scavenger, Dead Silence, Hardline, Commando, Hacker Tier 3: Tactical Mask, Sniper Gear (hunter), Hardwired, Combat Medic, Ballistic Vest, Stealth Gear, Flak Jacket, Gambler
  17. Yes. After all, you are standing there holding an ipad driving a little car remotely. You dont turn into a car like in some strange sci-fi movie. If you are dying from poison use one of your medkits to heal yourself. As the hint says. Considering medkits often get dropped by dead players they are around to pick up.
  18. Yes some maps are fx heavy and can really screw with fps. Especially maps with rain or other environmental effects. Even on stock maps if you enable rain, like on mp_farm, you will see fps drop dramatically.
  19. An old problem with online MP games. And yes one they can never truly fix because there are so many variables that decide how good it works, So there will always be problems no matter what you do. Players can either get frustrated by it all, thinking everything should be perfect in an imperfect world, or accept that there are good times and bad times.
  20. Yes thx. Raise it from 30 up to 100. Test how much. 60 might be enough. But you have to do that yourself. Note that some servers force this value as some kind of fairness idea. So keep an eye on the value and change it in the console if its not what you set it at.
  21. That one might be doable. Offhand I dont see any conflicts. The one problem is that most players would run around with hardline. Meaning for example more cars, care packages, and predators. Considering this the player should be required to give up a great perk he would otherwise like. Otherwise might as well just decrease every streak requirement by 1 and remove the perk entirely. The later model of limiting perks by class was an interesting idea. But it had a lot more perks that broke up things like lightweight into two. Or turned stopping power into an attachment. Which in turn meant allowing two attachments because people wouldnt want to give up an enhanced sight for it. But dont just want to do that by itself. Require a perk. I forget the name of it. Gets real complicated, doesnt it.
  22. Might also want to check cl_maxpackets. If its 30, raise to 60 or more.
  23. I dont have access to how that works. I assume the program gets them directly from the redirect server. In which case it should be ok. A note about gb_sharqi and snipers: If you are on the tall building looking into the other spawn, but they are hanging back, they will be out of range. If you have the Hunter perk you will see the range finder turn red. Same for the other way around. If you hang back, in hopes of picking off enemies on the tall building, you will be out of range. Game limitation. Previously the mod had long-range sniper rifles that didnt not have that limitation. But since they fired very fast projectiles, not bullets, they could not penetrate anything. Sniper servers with really big maps do this.
