It does make me wonder who at MS comes up with these bright ideas that everyone is going to hate. Dont they ever look at places like facebook and their about face when they do something stupid and people find out about it?

Be sure not to go to any of those porn sites or it will get stored on the cloud forever. And not just anonymously. I wonder if MS would ever get hit with subpoenas for such information by divorce lawyers and the like.

The only nvidia problem I have seen, so far, is their gaming experience thing and streaming. It is on by default. That causes definite lag when booting the system and potentially at runtime. I disabled the service since I dont need it. No more problems.

Some of that is kinda needed because too many people just dont bother with the things that are supposed to protect them. And in return that affects the rest of us that do. It's unfortunate but to protect such people from things like bitlocker or malware from the Russians its needed. Especially if they have kids that download stuff from who knows where or go to websites full of malware so they can get the latest game cheats for their xbox or play station. Kids are generally stupid, dont think about such things and they dont particularly care about the PC. Just their game systems. But... the parts that do things like track what you say, write, and all of that, now that really does smack of NSA style surveillance. However I doubt they are sharing information now, voluntarily anyways, since their previous cooperation has been exposed. That wont stop them from hacking into MS anyways. Like before. I suspect some things will change. At the least things will be off by default. Such as the xbox bruhaha. Yup same company. Makes one think why they tried to do it again. Not going to get Win10 anyways unless its truly needed. Even tho its free.

Of course they overdid it way too much due to the nature of their profession. And many of the 'before' pictures are about as unflattering as you can get. Like mug shots.

For bullet weapons the travel time is the same for all of them. Which is instant. Projectiles however are actual entities in the game (rpg rockets etc) and do have a travel time. Crossbows are large projectiles compared to bullets obviously. However the non explosive one was made very fast. The same speed as the 25mm projectiles for the ac130 SP mission. Doesnt make sense considering it fired by a bow. But its not supposed to make sense.

I put in rd_xmas the other day for the alternate weapon loading that should take care of that map. But it was reported that it happened again. That one could have been rd_snow tho. Didnt know both were in the rotation. So added both. If either of those maps still have weapon index mismatches plz let me know. And hey, no need to feel sick of playing because of errors like these. Shit happens. Imagine if you were the mappers or modders that had to hunt these things down. Now that can get sickening fast.

That is true. There are laws. Cannot argue with the law. Even if its a stupid law that says smoke cannot cross your property line.

Crossbow

Considered it long ago but didnt have the desire to get into all the rewrites needed. It would also make the class system pointless.

Anything done on facebook should be considered suspect by default. I really do think its a hoax because I simply cannot imagine someone would be so stupid as to talking about keeping smoke from crossing property lines. But we live in a stupid country full of stupid people.

Could be good. Or could be bad. The fact that its a female cast doesnt automatically mean its likely to be bad. I do hope however they dont just make female versions of the guys. But a female version of the electroshock scene could be great. A nice turnabout. A woman with a little bit of a sadistic streak to get the cute but hollow minded guy for sex. I dont know if male audiences would go for that. Women arent supposed to do that to men. But women will love it. On that note I am curious how they will do that kind of thing for Wonder Woman. She always did have a bit of dominatrix in her... considering where she came from... especially when it came to that lasso and tying up men to control them. But maybe thats not kid friendly even tho shes a comic book character.

Remember that when I play hiphop or some other obnoxious music late at night. I can no more control sound from crossing my property that you can control your bbq. Whatever happened to common courtesy between neighbors?

Saritch hip fire isnt very good by design. Especially when you spray and pray like that. That is the trade off for having a highly accurate full auto weapon when you aim.

Yup the saritch is a very good weapon when you aim. But compared to others in its class it sucks if you fire from the hip without steady aim. It also loses its ammo quickly if you spray. Scavenger is essential if you dont die all the time. That is the balance.

Well, they do have a point in terms of smoke. Many places with air pollution problems do not allow wood burning fireplaces. Just gas. It hasnt happened here yet but it will. On cold nights when there is no strong wind to blow the smoke away (and over someone elses town) its like being near a forest fire. Because of wind patterns due to terrain, trees and the like, the chimney smoke from one of my neighbors often goes directly to the window of the house next door. Do they just say too bad and tell them to keep the windows closed? As always its a compromise. The whole thing about keeping smoke on the property is patently silly. But you also dont want your neighbor to be a total smoke generator where you have to keep your kids indoors because its too smokey for them to play outside. I am sure something can be worked out so everybody is fine with it. My guess is that the law itself was aimed at people that burn their trash in residential areas.

Nope. Hit detection in the mod and the game itself is good. imo too good. Especially around the head. But that's not my call and game engine controlled anyways. However if people are having latency problems, or whatever else, then dont reflexively blame the mod. Also dont discount that people are simply getting better or adjusting their systems so they play better and thus makes it harder to hit them. Considering there are other posts complaining about certain players being too good then that kinda defeats the argument. Unless you want to call them hackers.

Then dont play the game.

I have been watching and 25 seems like the right number. At 15 seconds people are still joining. Seriously, this usually only happens once every 30 minutes and shouldnt be a problem. However I am thinking of ways to make it seem more like a countdown in a race instead of just a delay.

I couldnt eat that these days.
