These days, with more modern graphic cards, performance in this game should be a non-issue. Except where engine limits are concerned. So maybe there should be a minimum.

If I have the right one in mind, that value is controlled by the LoD settings in the game options screen for models and such. A lot of people turn that down to minimum. Often for performance. But its not a hack.

Hmm, well that is a little different since they are demanding money and likely blackmailing people for more. Makes a serious crime that much worse and again points to Russians since they tend to be the biggest blackmailers. Does show however that its way too easy to figure out who people are because of all the online profiles and such like Facebook that people use.

Yea, no money demands afaik, They could have also tried to use the information to track people down and blackmail them. No reports of that. So far. I highly doubt they will shut down the site.

Unless I am mistaken its a map error and nothing can be done about it. Likely it is tied to a certain location, like localized sounds, which is why some get it and some dont.

It has been asked of me a couple times about error messages related to 'max fragments'. Typically it happens the most with airstrikes. This is normal, especially if you are in the middle of it, because of all the FX. Mostly it's all the tiny particles. There are a lot of them. Here is an example of the error log taken after standing in the middle of an airstrike using a basic Open Warfare mod. For those unfamiliar with the standard Open Warfare framework, it has no custom weapon models, no custom streak models (B2 etc), and few custom fx. It is mostly scripting for new gametypes, abilities like retrieving explosives, and enhanced flexibility on server+gametype setup. The console is just saying there are too many for the engine to handle so it ignores what it cannot do.

The P90 is a different matter with its lower damage and distance+location modifiers. It does a max of 30 damage (not counting SP) compared to an AR or sniper because its rounds are very small. Yes this is the way it is on the stock game and I didnt mess with it. Just so I am sure, what is spawn armor set at on this server? I should know this anyways but I need to spend more time playing it.

Some thoughts on a Second Chance + Combat Medic combo for teams: Sometimes simple perks in themselves for individual players dont seem that effective compared to Stopping Power or Hardwired. But imagine you are dominating an enemy spawn point. Everyone on your team has both Second Chance and Combat Medic. Always keep a teammate next to you. If one of you get put into Second Chance your teammate can revive you (up to three times by default) and vice-versa unless you die first and are frozen. Neither of you have to run back from start spawn when revived. Makes a team dominating a spawnpoint that much harder to defeat. On the other hand if everyone on the trapped team has Second Chance and Combat medic the team as a whole can defrost everyone that much faster. Instead of the dominating team facing two trapped players with all the freezing, defrosting, and respawning, they may eventually have to face all of them. Just some thoughts on how to use lesser perks to a teams advantage.
