  1. Maybe if big brother showed a lot of full-on hardcore sex every week I would watch. Then choose based on that. But cant expect that from networks. Hmmm, I wonder what HBO could do with such a show.

  3. It has been asked of me a couple times about error messages related to 'max fragments'. Typically it happens the most with airstrikes. This is normal, especially if you are in the middle of it, because of all the FX. Mostly it's all the tiny particles. There are a lot of them. Here is an example of the error log taken after standing in the middle of an airstrike using a basic Open Warfare mod. For those unfamiliar with the standard Open Warfare framework, it has no custom weapon models, no custom streak models (B2 etc), and few custom fx. It is mostly scripting for new gametypes, abilities like retrieving explosives, and enhanced flexibility on server+gametype setup. The console is just saying there are too many for the engine to handle so it ignores what it cannot do.

  8. The P90 is a different matter with its lower damage and distance+location modifiers. It does a max of 30 damage (not counting SP) compared to an AR or sniper because its rounds are very small. Yes this is the way it is on the stock game and I didnt mess with it. Just so I am sure, what is spawn armor set at on this server? I should know this anyways but I need to spend more time playing it.
  9. Some thoughts on a Second Chance + Combat Medic combo for teams: Sometimes simple perks in themselves for individual players dont seem that effective compared to Stopping Power or Hardwired. But imagine you are dominating an enemy spawn point. Everyone on your team has both Second Chance and Combat Medic. Always keep a teammate next to you. If one of you get put into Second Chance your teammate can revive you (up to three times by default) and vice-versa unless you die first and are frozen. Neither of you have to run back from start spawn when revived. Makes a team dominating a spawnpoint that much harder to defeat. On the other hand if everyone on the trapped team has Second Chance and Combat medic the team as a whole can defrost everyone that much faster. Instead of the dominating team facing two trapped players with all the freezing, defrosting, and respawning, they may eventually have to face all of them. Just some thoughts on how to use lesser perks to a teams advantage.
  10. For the Reaper I cut bullet damage in 1/2. However rockets and missiles still do full damage. Two will destroy it. Will see how that goes. If its too much might dial that back to 2/3 damage for bullets.
  11. Sorry but the math doesnt add up. A .50 does 70 pts damage regardless of range. If you got 5 hit markers that means you did 350 points damage. Even with a vest and a death streak max health is nowhere near that. edit: just to be sure I spawned some bots forcing 100 armor. That plus hardcore health = 130 points total. Killed by two shots, for 140 points, to the torso.
  12. Cant do nothin about maps. Going through an EMP field will slow you down by 1/2. A direct hit just freezes your controls, like being frozen. Its possible the car was disabled or destroyed while there. Only thing I can think of and will check it out tomorrow.
  13. What I mean is, were you also in an area where you only moved 1/2 speed. Because of an emp that was thrown before.

  16. Yes 'inside'. Meaning there is some protection. No weapon is invincible. But I will check damage settings. edit: server config settings for the weapon were different on the beta5 mod instead of their defaults. Copied them over and they will take effect on the next server restart.
  17. Sounds more like the kind of thing for meatloaf recipes. For burgers, nothing beats just some salt, pepper, and garlic. Maybe some onion flakes. Oh and cheese.

  19. You're right there was a problem with flashbangs and the tacmask. Uploaded a fix. Will take effect next map.

  25. Do you recall the map where the fx messages happened? I know what the error is and it is fairly common. Still going through all the fx in the mod to see if something new is causing a problem.
