Evening gameplay on COD5 DM2 was good today. 6 - 7:30pm cst. No lag at all.

I'm not reinstalling COD4; their FT server just never did much for me - I just never could get the hang of stuff like "care packages" and the pace in there was way too fast for anyone to help a noob understand anything. But hope you guys have a good time. It certainly is a popular game, that's for sure! ldoz, Ricko, and I have been playing in COD5 DM1 the past week or so, sometimes moving over to DM2 if we cannot get DM1 fired up beyond the 3 of us. And by mid February, I will no longer be able to play in any Breakfast club, so moving either forward to the next "best game ever" or time traveling back to XP-era games just seems futile. For me, maybe it's just as well the group splintered as much as it did. Maybe it won't feel so painful to rip off that final band-aid and say good bye to just a couple of people instead of a whole group. Waaa Waaa, I know. Whatever. #IHML

I like what you're doing here, @@2_MANY_BEERS, so don't get me wrong, but I seem to remember looking at a "heat map" of spawn points for a map (@@Labob - was that you that posted it?) and there were not many open areas that would qualify as spawn free zones. Also, maybe some maps are more spawn zone heavy than others. I'm interested in how this plays out and how it's received. BTW, I was looking to add knife throwing back into DM1 for 'ya, but a search for "knife" in all the cfg files turned up nothing. Do you happen to remember what the setting is called?
