  1. What has worked for me was just portion control, cardio and protein. Multiple small meals/protein shakes instead of three main meals and plenty of exercise is the proven method, and I was able to drop 25lbs on my last deployment in less than 3 months.
  2. I'm always up for a game...hit me up on Xfire or TS
  3. I will have to reload it on my com, but I would def be up for playing
  4. was wondering what happened to my favorite server
  5. They wont rise, they are bringing enough in by panga and other land routes that this wont really make that big of a dent in my opinion
  6. Can't say I've ever seen a LAV do that
  7. Damn...didn't see that coming.
  8. nice toy...enjoy it!
  9. a couple of days late, but happy Independence Day!
  10. Congrats Xcaliber...while it is a pain in the ass you are living the dream. Hope it all works out and you get the place you really want. Wish I could offer you more advice but being military i move way too much to buy a house and not run the risk of taking a huge loss. Someday though. Serously though, I hope its a good experience and rewarding!
  11. like the dumbass i can be, i didn't read all the way down. Glad you got her working quickly...i was out of action for almost two months.
  12. I had the exact same problem after putting almost 200 hours in. Tried a thousand "solutions" which where posted on the Battlelog forums but nothing worked. I had to do a complete system restore to factory settings and magically it worked again. If you look in the "my documents" folder and find "BF3" what is posted in there? When I was having the issue it was only the "screenshots" folder. You should have that and a "settings" folder. Perhaps a clean wipe of all BF3 files and a reinstall could work, but for me it took a lot more.
  13. Happy Canada day to our northern neighbors...Growing up so close to the border I have nothing but respect. Enjoy a few beers for me! (I prefer Labatts)
  14. Heard that story on the news not too long ago. Fast thinking on the kids part and I'm sure it's in part to responisble gun ownership by the parrents. Glad to see this worked out well (minus the obvious mental scaring) for the familly and children...
  15. There are several "gaming specific" routers out there which will prioritize the bandwith for chosen games. That way, if your son chooses to watch a movie while you are gaming, CoD still have priority and his picture quality/buffering time will suffer, not yours!
  16. Thanks everyone and Thanks 3rd...i was starting to get the shakes, going through BF3 withdrawl
  17. Sounds sick...can't wait for September!
  18. hey everyone, just thought I would reintroduce myself. I had been playing on your servers amost exclusivley until the April BF3 patch which took me out of commission. I haven't been able to play since, until out of desperation I reverted my comp back to factory settings...and now I am back up again. Good to see you all again.
  19. Thanks for the tip
  20. would like to take a turn in there...
  21. That sucks, but funny none the less
  22. While I'm not a fan of the kit upgrade either (It was a living hell for me to unlock all of the recon items), it boils down to what EA and DICE can do to make money and keep people playing the game. In order to introduce new players this late in the game, a way to "even the playing field" isn't a terrible idea...but it does suck for those of us who took the time to unlock everything the way it was meant to be unlocked. It is what it is, I'm just going to live with it and keep having fun.
  23. Interested in the later releases...Close Combat looks too much like CoD...but who am I kidding...Of course I'm going to get it too
  24. Know I'm new here, but thought I would share. Nickname in High School was "Dork", and a decade later it still sticks. the "ROK" part is from when I was serving in the Republic of Korea, and again all these years later it still sticks. Lastly, 22 is my lucky number. So basically its Dork "in" Republic of Korea...DorkNRok22.
  25. This place keeps getting better by the minute...hockey fans seem to be a majority which is amazing. I live for that sport.
