    This one is going to be an interesting one...as much as I am looking forward to this, I am also dreading it's release. It's no secret that this is the last expansion pack and that BF4 is deep in the works. This is going to be one game that is going to hurt moving away from.

    crazy you mention that...for the past few days when i fire the computer up my firewall will be disabled and I have to go back and turn it on...I did a scan last night but didn't catch anything. Looking again now.

    yea, i just read some of the reviews....while it still has that new game smell to me, I may agree with the reviews in a couple of weeks. While the game isn't as stunning as BF3 on ultra, I still don't think it is as horrible as they say it is

    Anyone else pick up the new Aliens:Colonial Marines game today? Played for about 3 hours and it was a blast. Levels are a bit small, but the game modes fit the game. Playing as the Xeno takes some getting used to but all in all I would say its worth the $50. If you are a fan of the sci-horror films like I am, i don't think you will be disapointed.

    I'll second that LordOfChaos, we have a great group of regulars (beef, hijack, tyrone, mp5killa and Davik just to name a few) who do a great job of observing the server while they are playing. They do a great job being that "second set of eyes" for the admins while they are away from the server. Thanks guys! Keep your eyes out!

    Reading some of these posts leaves me with a seperate yet related issue...are women now going to be required to register for the Selective Service just as US males are upon turning 18? I haven't heard any discussions on this from our Gov't, but I am curious to see if this in on the horizon as well.

    IMO standards are standards regardless of sex...however as a realist I am almost positive that for some of the main cobat career fields (infantry, artillery) the standards will be molded based on sex (just like current PT standards are). If or when (last I read is services may exempt certain career fields from this integration ie. Spec Ops) is integrated, I believe the standards will be across the board. In positions like that, where skill sets are a little more refined, the completion of the mission is what matters, not the sex of a person. Just my conclusions based on my experience.

    Sam Adam's, Dogfishhead, newcastle and Firestone are my favorites. You can't go wrong with Molson or Labatts either. American staples (budwiser, Miller ect) just taste like crap to me these days...but thats due to being stationed in Germany for three years. Beer is a religion to them.
