There was a copy cat DDoS attack last evening on steam inspired by one conducted by "Derp trolling" which was DDoS'ing EA....same guys who brought down LoL a few days ago. Last night Origin, Steam, BB1 amd PSN servers went down for varying times.

https://twitter.com/DerpTrolling Here is the group that is claiming responsibility. Apparently they took down LoL a couple of days ago and inspired a copycat attack on Steam which (as of the time of posting this) is still down. PC, XB1, and PSN all seem to be affected.

From what everyone is saying, EA was under a DDOS attack. Seems to be back up now, but it is still a bit laggy

Anyone else having issues connecting to Origin this evening? It's 830 PST right now and I can't get online w/ Origin either through the program or manually signing in to battlelog. Curious to see what the cause is. About 20 minutes ago I checked our 64 server via the battlelog app and it was full w/ queue, and now according to procon it is empty. I wasn't aware of any maintenance going on this evening.

You are the man devildog. Hardcore mentioned it earlier this morning, but I agree that a daily restart either late at night or first thing in the morning is warranted.

Like I said Thormach, I didn't spectate what you did, and through personal experience spectator mode with all of it's graphical glitches can give the perception that someone is using a hack or cheat. I have personally witnessed this. This is why @XI we use a combination of spectator and several stat/anti-cheat sites before we make a determination. I think i speak for all of the admins we applaud your effort and thank you for supplementing us in our effort to police our server. Without committed players like yourself it would be an even more uphill battle than it already is. I only wanted to voice my knowledge of Quantum being family and a stand-up guy. Again, thank you for bringing us the names which we will be looking into/keeping an eye out for and we really hope to see you and your friends on our servers again! Don't be a stranger and hop on our TS channel when you are in game!

Thank you for the list. It is obvious that you did indeed put some time into this but I will point out that one of the names on this list is related to me by blood (the name will stay between myself and other admins but he is my brother) and I assure you he isn't a hack...his moral compass is straiter than mine and I'm in law enforcement! I pose this question, and I'm by no means saying that everyone on that list is clean (just the one I know for a fact is), but is it possible that spectator mode mislead you? There are animation glitches which run rampant in BF4, which I for one know have caused me a couple of times to wonder of an individual was hacking, but when further investigated it was chalked up to a glitch. Just a question, and I didn't spectate what you did so I won't pretend to have.

If you are looking for a good card for a reasonable price, EVGA has a GTX 760 which is factory overclocked. I picked up my two (running SLI) for $240 USD each. Even single card i was pulling about 90 FPS average on high settings.

Oldie but a goody...if Im not mistaken that was done after the release of BF3 edit: Well it has the newer theme music so he may have just updated it. Just looked up on youtube, same house just different display...and I thought I was obsessed with the Battlefield series.

maitenence (didn't specify server or client side) is planned by DICE/EA this evening/tomorrow morning depending on where you live. I can only hope this is to address the issues discovered after the release of this latest patch.

Maximumpc.com is reporting a law firm is possibly suing EA over the botched rollout of BF4.
