There is about 5 seconds of invisible spawn protection. This leaves ample time to get out of the way of anyone camping in spawn. In fact, the more, the better. Many have matches have been completely turned around because people camp in spawn and get stuck there, unable to be thawed.

I'll admit it. If you are one of two people still alive, or the ONLY one alive, sometimes you need to stay still for a bit. What don't you understand?? We have valid concerns as to why this should not be implemented. Your only reason is that you hate campers?? Between this and the solid ice, I've almost lost complete interest...

Camping is an element of all FPS's. But this also effects people that like to sit back and defrost teammates. You are forcing ALL players to run and gun which completely contradicts the point of FreezeTag. I have no issues with a bounty if you can keep the player hidden.

Really?? Sammy, we ALL appreciate what you do, but, this is a very selfish move if you ask me. Tailoring one of XI's most successful game to suit your taste in gameplay. People will drop like flies.

So, at 6am EST/3am PST on a weekday, you only see 12 people on the FT server and think those are bad numbers for a game that was released 7 years ago?? I'm sorry, but there is no way you will win this argument. I get tired of people buying into the yearly release of the same game bullshit and are perfectly okay paying top dollar for it. You fail to realize the beauty of games like COD that are able to be modded and ran EXACTLY how we want on our own dedicated server and provide MANY years of entertainment for VERY little cost. In 7 years, do you think people will give two shits about BF4?? Thousands of maps for free, along with the free mods provide longevity to communities like ours. With so many games releasing the same bullshit every six months to a year, we will start to see players spread across a lot of games and clans like ours will suffer. It's not about the money; its the principal.. So, to answer your question; YES, I want mods and map tools included in all games. I'm happy to pay for the game itself.

I completely disagree. I use to be able to focus on one point until the defrost finished. Now, you must move around a bit a lot of the time to completely defrost someone. Sucks..

I'm okay with the mod, but am always up for something different. I miss the G-3 and being able to shoot through the ice. It's harder to defrost in this newer mod too.. Not a big fan of that..

Ok.. I'll chime in here. It may very well be the 10.x device, but his worst ping just to his router is 8 0 +. That is WAY to high. Here is my advice in the order of importance... 1. Try a new cable to your router. Run Tests 2. Try a new cable straight to your modem. Run Tests** 3. Make sure coax is tightly secured in all locations. Run Tests 4. Try plugging into another cable outlet in your house . Run Tests. **If you don't have a new cable, just use the one from your modem to the router for testing to plug from modem to PC. Again, an 8 0 + ping to your router at anytime is not normal. Cables don't normally go bad, unless the tips get worn, or strained, especially home-made cables...Except mine of course I'm about 85% sure its your router.

Thanks everyone! As Rugger said, I've been here for quite a few years and have enjoyed getting to know many of you. I'm excited to be apart of the admin team. Can we get a list of plugins that we run that are not compatible with 1.7.6? It looks like Spigot and BungeeCord are good to go. We're running a LOT of plugins; i'm guessing we'll be waiting a few weeks before upgrading.

For the price, you really do get a better deal. For under $100/month, you can get a dedicated server with much more ram. I'm actually in the process of upgrading my blade server. I use it for nothing. It would be a sweet machine to host MC, especially when I get Google Fiber installed. 1GB up and down.. Just an idea..

Just throwing this out there, but I've hosted a few mine-craft servers over the past few years. If you guys every need any help with back-end type admin stuff, let me know. It's also what I do for a living. Firemarshall Bill also has quite a bit of technical knowledge. Just know you have competent people that can help when needed. This also goes for administering the server. There have been a few times when we've needed an admin and no one was to be found. If Myself and Bill could earn that right, we should pretty much have the server covered 24/7.
