  1. Are ya bringing my kids? :-p
  2. sadly it is cheaper for us as Canadians to fly to Florida than it is for me in Ontario to fly to BC or Newfoundland within my own Country!
  3. Remember that bag of dicks i mentioned this morning... you can continue eating them or obtain a new bag if you have finished that one! LOL
  4. September 14th-17th 2017 Unless bossman Rugger comes and changes it or if people want a different day they need to speak up, thats why the thread was here and asked the preference on date before I was told to lock down a day so people can start making plans. Ruggers PM to me said people wanted it in September this time, by "people" I am assuming the regulars from the USA who attend the fests yearly and talked about it at the fest few weeks ago. im perfectly happy with mid September myself as anything before Labor Day you can look at a 25%+ Increase in price as compared to after labor Day as Niagara Falls is a tourist town and before labor day is considered peak season. So unless I am told other wise, going ahead with planning for September 14th through 17th 2017
  5. I just made the date for when Rugger told me to, he has some personal stuff he is going through and asked me to get the ball rolling on it, said to make it 1st or 2nd week of September.
  6. Many of you know through getting to know me that I have struggled with weight my whole life and last year decided to make some changes in my life and try to get healthier. Thursday was 1 year since I started making those changes. I was approx 390 lbs when i started. I say approx, because day before I started I hit up an all you can eat buffet with the wife and crushed it LOL!! So was probably closer to 395, but have used 390 as my benchmark. I want to thank you all for your words of encouragement throughout this journey, it has ment sooo much. every bit of support I have gotten from many different aspects of my life have fueled my drive to do this! Love ya all, wont get long winded on this post, did that on facebook already LOL, so here is me, #SittinLighter at 263lb weigh in 1 year to day after I started. 127lbs lost! 390lbs 263 lbs 1 year later!!!

  8. We have stayed at this hotel the most when we go down without issue, they renovated 3 years ago big time, but hotel no matter to me, Just think people would want more closer to Clifton hill, there are a ton of hotels to chose from
  9. Date is September 14th till the 17th 2017! and check your dang PM's once in a while @Tiger! LOL
  10. That hotel is ok if people want to be away from everything. From there would be about a 30-40 minute walk to Clifton Hill, where the most attractions are. That Best Western is up on Fallsview by the new Casino. We have stayed there a few times when we didnt have the kids and just doing the Casino/sex weekend and no attractions LMAO! We have been staying at the Skyline the past few years we have been going when we are hitting up the attractions, it is right behind Planet Hollywood, 5 min walk to casino and all attractions on Clifton hill, Also is attatched to an indoor waterpark that you can get package deals for, has 4 tube slides, 4 body slides, wave pool and kid zone. The hotel is basic, nothing flashy, but has 3 common area rooms with tons of seats and couches and stuff. it out and let me know what yas all think, if you want to be right within 5 minute walking of the attractions (busier area) this one is a great hotel or away from the busier area and a long walk or short drive/shuttle to the attraction areas. http://skylinehotelniagarafalls.com/
  11. its the other way around hun, our Canadian dollar is shit compared to American dollar, so for every US dollar you get approx $1.34 Canadian as per todays exchange rate So, if something was to cost say $100 Canadian, you would only have to pay approx $74.20 American

  13. Yes, all prices will be in Canadian, so you will save with the Dollar so long as it stays at its rate LOL
  14. Labour Day weekend is the weekend before, rates begin dropping after Labour Day.

  17. Hello Peeps, Rooger has some things on the go and has asked me to get this off the ground as I know the area Looking to get a rough head count and a bit of info from people as to what they would be interested in so I can start checkin gout group rates and stuff. Now, with that being said, it IS a tourist town, expect tourist prices LOL. We have MANY options for hotels depending on what people want. We can get hotels right in the thick of things on Clifton Hill area. EVERYTHING is within walking distance from this area except maybe go-karts, have to look into that, the Falls is right theremThere is ziplining along the falls just started this year, Maid of The Mist boat tour, tour under the falls, 2 casinos with full buffets and shows and Yuk Yuks, haunted houses, Marine land (Not walking distance for Marine Land but a 10 minute drive) Magic shows and tons of little museums and shit everywhere. There is wine tasting tours all over the place, Niagara region is well known for its wineries. We can also get hotels a little cheaper that are on what is called Lundys Lane, it is about 5 minutes from the actual falls, just a big strip of hotels off the way for those looking to save a few bucks Basically looking for idea on how many plan on attending, Best weekend for it in September of 2017, looking at Thursday till Sunday according to Rooger and im sure if people want to show up earlier arrangements can be made with the hotel at the time of booking, some ideas on what you'se want to do. This is my first fest so bear with me!!!! Wifey will start calling around looking at group rates and stuff, ALOT of hotels have package deals also that give you coupons for different attractions on Clifton hill, or casino packages or food packages Lets get the ball rolling on this and see how many plan on attending!! Dont toss your name in if you are not coming or we send Wildthing to your house and get 15 minutes on the closet with him!! Wife did a few calls this morning to places on Clifton hill, looking anywheres from $100 a night to $160 depending on the hotel. One hotel has said they would give us the whole floor for $125 a night so long as it was all 3 days. Alot of other hotels are giving different rates for each day getting progressivly more expensive friday and saturday night. Days in on Clifton Hill says they will flat rate it 125 but has to be for all 3 days. Just calling around trying to get some info so everyone has a little bit to go on before we pull the trigger on anything, a few of the hotels have said they already have reservations coming in for that time She has been asking about the weeks of Sept 7-10th and Sept 14-17. It is the weekend after Labor Day here in Canada, do NOT want to go the 1st weekend of September Labor Day weekend as prices will be probably double Looking forward to finally meeting a bunch of your idiots!! Ill start it out StormCrow and Wife

  25. Well yesterday I got my newest tattoo. Got a nearly 1/2 sleeve done as a tribute to my favorite rock band Monster Truck. About 8 months ago when I started my weight loss journey I made the appointment. When I made it I told the artist I was hoping to be 60-70 lbs lost by then. The 8 months passed and my appointment was yesterday, hoped on the scale yesterday morning and am at 117lbs lost! Kinda beet my goal a wee bit LOL. This tattoo is a gift to myself for the hard work of getting my weight semi under control. Still got 40-50lbs before Ill start feeling comfortable with myself. Lead guitarist of the band saw a pic on my facebook, his comment was "Holy Shit!!!! Amazing!!!" here it is 1st thing this morning Im blown away by the detail he got into this thing!!!
