    Had my baby girl out fishing for the 1st time this year. Also her first time fishing with grandpa. she was very excited! She did awesome in the boat. I got a hit right away and not knowing how the night would go i let her reel it in for me. Nice black crappie! After that she got a catfish on her own rod and then another black crappie. Grandpa got skunked LOL

    Well we headed out for a Fishing derby today at a local conservation area. This is our 2nd year in it. Making it a tradition for my dad my son and myself. Last year my Son got 3rd place in the junior panfish division. This year he held every spot on the leader board till the last 5 minutes! He still ended up getting 1st and 2nd place! We had a blast! Fished, then went swimming for a bit waiting for tourny to end. They did a shitload of doorprize draws... we ended up winning a 34lbs thrust trolling motor!! Grand Prize Baby!!!! Heres a few pics of the day
