This is the response We are sorry for the delay and inconvenience. We have been receiving similar reports lately regarding servers restarting from dropped connections with the EA/DICE master server. The BF3 servers require a constant connection to the master server, so if the connection is interrupted the server will restart to attempt to reestablish the connection. Due to the number of similar reports over a different range of locations, there seems to be a temporary issue with the master server or a connection route that is resulting in the server interruptions. I'm afraid there isn't anything specific we can do to correct this other than wait for the core issue to be corrected by EA/DICE.

Server are back up and here is the official statement from the host: Hello. This is an update to the New York server downtime and hardware failure as of a few days ago. I'm pleased to let you know that the new server and game servers have been brought online and all the files have been restored. Amongst the bad news of the entire server dying, I did run into some good news. I was able to procure the new server which turns out to have much more power than the old one. The old server was a quad core x3330 @ 2.66GHz whereas the new server is using the latest Intel i7 processor achitecture @ 3.2GHz with double the number of threads. The server has 8GB of memory and the hard drives were upgraded to 1TB in a RAID 1 array. In closing, if anyone has any problems please let me know and I'll look into it as quickly as possible. Failure Redux: After reviewing the old server and the failure modes, it looks like a sequence of events occurred which caused the server to fail. While I am unsure of the order of the events, it looks like 1) the file allocation table on the secondary drive (the one which stores all game server data) was corrupted and 2) the hardware RAID copied this corruption to both disks causing the eventual demise of the entire server. I am not sure if the corruption on the disk was due to a controller failure, driver failure, or operating system failure, however I believe the corruption was spreading to the primary drive as well, which leads me to believe it was a driver or controller error. Regardless, over the course of 16 hours I was able to recover the files from the secondary drive and get the game servers setup again.

Freezetag server 2 and Mw2 Freeze are still up and running

The server these servers were on suffered a hardware failure, the host had a new server put in this morning now they just need to get the server online then start getting everything back up and running. He gave me a time frame of 24 - 48 hours. When I hear more I will update here.

The server was taken down because no members supported it, we are using the funds from that server to add slots to our minecraft server.

Harry we just had the server exactly the same as that one server we won't mention for the past month, we just used a different name. Hope you guys enjoy it, if it needs tweaking please let me know

OK I think I may have found a great map rotation for the DM server, you guys say you like shotties only maps and stuff like that, well I put in a bunch of maps like that, some shotgun only, sniper only, heavy machine gun only. I hope this is kinda what you DM guys were looking for, if not go ahead here and post and let me know. Well any admin can change the map to what they want, but the mod isnt't taking the configs right(on the server side on startup) correctly.

For some reason that mod isn't taking the specific weapons per map so it would have to go back to the old mod

just to go off topic... I have the new mod in my hands, sammy just needs to clean up the .iwds files a little bit and it will be good to go. This mod will have the auto boot to make room for members, it will kick the lowest scoring non member from the server and route them to the other mw2 server
