Hi guys can one of you please help. My brand new copy of cod2 came today and I downloaded all the latest patches and maps from the XI downloader the game works perfect but for some reason I cant get into the XI server other servers no problem. But with the XI i get the following error message:- impure client detected.invalid.iwd files referenced

I will its a brilliant program when used properly lol. U see an Idiot like me should realise that at poor speeds of 700 KB/s it going to take a couple of hours to download nearly 4 gig of files. But the upside is I will play the games even quicker once it is done because I will have all the files I need. So yes a very special thanks to ph4nt0m for a great program.

Boy did I cock up big time . I just recieved my Cod 2 game so i down loaded all the patches no problem works great. I then went on to the XI downloader and clicked it went into settings and highlighted all the games i have that needed updating. Forgetting that i had re-installed cod 5 and highlighted everything I needed. Then bang 3.7 GIG of files I needed to down load. IM AN IDIOT not checking for up-dates more often . So valuable lesson of the day update every week lol

Hi mate i had the same problem and the only solution I have found is to turn off x-fire when playing cod 4, on my pcc they just wont run at the same time. If you do find a solution please let me know .

hi mate an easier way to get it is to go to cnet.com in their little search panel type in speedbooster and there you go. it a very safe site to dowmload from i use it all the time with no problems. Good luck

I give up might as well buy an x-box because with support for our cause this bad PC games will be a thing of the past within a couple of years

Sonovabitch I wholeheartedly agree with you mate. I can understand how some of the guys bought this game But they should have been open and honest when all the press and facts came out, like you i will stay true to my word and will never buy the game or any other by infinityward untill they see the error of their ways. But i think we should put this subject to bed now for the sole reason we are getting involved in all the hype and I believe here at XI we are better people than that. Its not the game that makes a community but the Fantastic Diverse amazing people that are part of this family here at XI. And like all family's there is always members who make mistakes Its up to the rest of us to show them the error of their ways and educate them with regards the big picture.

that was the idear we all boycot the game and force infinity to re think with regards dedicated servers. and I personally dont care how good the game is . I wont be buying it my word is my bond and i dont back down

What happened to the boycot ??? well i guess thats why these company's get away with it if we have this many on here how many in total have bought the game. yet another nail in the pc gamers coffin. People like them deserve whats coming its just a shame the rest of us will suffer as well when these companys stop making pc game's.
