DEEJAYKEG How anyone can rejoice about red plastic drinking receptacles is beyond me. It's not just the receptacle but the atmosphere in which it is used, some places in Texas glass can be a hazard or accident waiting to happen. Just cannot top a red plastic cup! Besides, as you well know, we statesider's do not exhibit proper English mannerisms.

I doubt any of you know this family, it is Soul Colletor (George Leydic, Indiana, PA originally from Scotland). I gamed with him for many years and have met him and his son Allen in person. Allen is terminally ill from cancer and may or may not see Christmas. I just wanted to post the pic of a visit he had from the Pittsburgh Penguins during his hospital time. I think a lot of our sports people who take time to give back to the community and perhaps brighten a child's day even if just for a moment. Even though none of you know the family I am sure all prayers would be appreciated. Okay all you Keyboard users, you are holding your self back just using the keyboard. The Belkin Nostromo 52 or Logitech G 13 just make life so much easier. I doubt anyone who has ever gamed with one ever went back to keyboard use ever again.

simplemod400 Bumping it up again. I thought of this thread today, and also the scriptures where Jesus said I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me drink, and so on. I went to town today and saw a guy holding a sign " FAMILY IN NEED. Will do any kind of work. any help accepted" I went and talked with him a few minutes. He said he had a 5 month old baby at home and had just lost his job and was having trouble finding work. So I gave him the number to a local church pastor who's church provides a food bank.=, and a few dollars. It really tore me up to see this guy today, but I'm glad I did, and got to help him out a little. The unfortunate thing is that there are too many phony panhandlers / beggars out begging that may well be better off than you. Begging in many cases is a profession, even phonies using wheel chairs or having their kids or dogs along to generate sympathy. I will not give even a penny to a street beggar. Of course growing up in a city you do acquire some street smarts. You did the right thing by referring him to a social service type of facility. More people should do the same instead of giving money.

If it's FT spawn killing is part of the game, in fact it is a goal to take over the enemy spawn. If not alert a member, providing you are sure of you facts and courteous, and them let them handle it as they see fit. And to be more precise it is aimed at Spawn Campers. Heck anyone can spawn kill now and then.

I do hope she gets through it with her dignity intact.
